hi
We got our package from our travel agent just last week. Checking out all the excursions were the first thing we did. I have to start making a list on what to do and when like registering on line, registering for excursions, etc.... not long now.. ~C |

Ugh - we are having trouble finding airfare. Flights to Orlando from DFW usually cost about 250-300 dollars. Right now, they are running $500 and apparently no cheap seats coming. OUCH!
The other side of it is that only Navigator Verandah cabins seem to be available on our sailing on the DCL site. So, we booked the cruise just in time, so now the trouble is how to get to Florida!

Airfare is not any better out of Houston
! As much as don't like the idea, it looks like we will be driving. Oh well, at least we won't be weighing the bags to night before we head out

Ya, we are having this same problem. Usually it's about $300 to fly from San Francisco to Orlando, but everything has been around $500. We do have free vouchers on Jet Blue, but we'd have to fly from SFO to New York and then to MCO. We'd leave here at 6am and get to Orlando at 11pm, which would be crummy if it was just us, but with a 10 month old that's just insane.
Not sure why air fare has gotten so expensive lately.

Us too! We've been looking for something out of Buffalo but so far it looks like we will be driving from Ontario. |

We are likely going to move quickly on Tampa - it's not as bad (by several hundred dollars for two) as flying into Orlando and only a little more of a drive to Port Canaveral.
It is Spring Break and all the lower cost seats are sold. So, it's bite the bullet time. UNfortunately, we cannot leave until after 3 PM on Friday, so driving is not a reasonable option for us...

I purchased tickets flying into Tampa Friday evening - which means for anyone wanting to buy tickets, there will be a fare sale tomorrow!!

Anyone else staying at the Radisson? I made my ressie there today. It is almost part of the tradition, staying there and having dinner at Grills! The only bad part is the drive
My newly licensed son reminds me that he will be able to help with the driving !!! -Donna Last edited by Tia; 12-09-2009 at 11:10 PM. |
