The lights....I can focus on that.

Our receptionist at work gave her notice and she has been out twice since then which means I have to cover for 1/2 the day so I rush to get all of my work done. Then I am stuck at the front desk with no work, no internet and just disney daydreams to pass the time.

Ugghhh -- how boring for you! Do you have your Unofficial Guide to help pass the time? A pretty clean legal pad on which to jot down lists?

I do have my Unofficial Guide. I need to get a new trip notebook since the cats dumped water all over mine and it's pretty much ruined. I can't have a water soggy trip notebook! I have to stop and get a new one tonight at my way home.

I'm sure she did it to Nana too.....call it the circle of womanhood.

I was real cranky (to put it mildly) as a teen....but now that I look back on it I know that it was hormones. And part of me thinks that my parents should have recoginzed that and did something to help me. I know if the next one is a girl that I'll remember how I felt and try to help.

How annoying!

Did you request anything specific for either of your rooms on your last trip? I have never requested but I want to request a full balcony and a day bed for this one -- I just don't know when or to whom I should make the request.

I do try to remember all of that with Chelsea -- we talk a lot about things like that -- I can handle it when she lashes out at me, but I feel sorry for Connor who sometimes gets the brunt of her fury.

Have your requests noted in your ressie. Then when you get there check-in early and be a pain the the asp! That's what I did and I have a whole story for my TR about it.

Poor Connor...tell him to carry a pointy stick!

My nice CM noted that I would like a room in the mansion section. They are so pretty! I hope that I get one.

I'm glad my brother didn't carry a pointy stick.

I was, too. And I blame a lot of it on hormones. How unfortunate there isn't more research on how to help teen girls through that.

Poor Connor. At least it's good practice for when he gets married!

I would love the mansion section. That's the part of POR that I like.

Me too. Alligator Bayou not so much but it's a risk I am willing to take. The mansions just look beautiful. I can channel my inner southern belle while I am there.

Everyone remember how I was interested in that CR-V. Well, I don't know if I mentioned I had put down a deposit of $500.

Obviously I didn't take the car, so the dealership owes me a refund.

That I'm STILL waiting on. I'm called three times, and it still hasn't posted. I finally had to call the credit card company this morning and dispute the charges. Which was very easy, and they were friendly, but what a pain. Is it so hard to practice good business nowadays?

You would be amazed of the things I hear about people having trouble getting refunds and such in the phone center at work. I don't use my debit card for "big" purchases like that for that reason alone. I use my credit cards so I can dispute the charges.

I hope everything works out, TK!

Gooooooooooooooooood morning Lapuettes! It's freezing here but we had a nice weekend (thanks to Macy's sales!). Now it's back to homeschooling and diaper changing. Sigh.

I'm so conflicted... I want to say "I'm sorry you're sick" and "Goody, you get to play!" both at the same time!

Bless you, my dear.
Kyle was having a 'teen moment' yesterday and it literally drained DH. I had to remind him that this is NOTHING... Kyle is a piece of cake compared to what I was from 13-18, and we still have THREE girls to see through their hormonal years...
