Rooms what's the difference..
Does anyone know what the difference in standard and preferred rooms are??I looked on the WDW website and it really says the same thing for both room other than the price is different..Thanks...If there is a difference is it worth getting the preffered??

Prefered rooms at the Value resorts are rooms that are closer to the food court and bus stops. There is no difference in size or anything different in the room itself.
You can pay for a water view room at the Moderate resorts. Again, no difference in the room itself, just a different view.

It's all about location, location, location.
Proximity to the lobby building. We stayed in a preferred room once and felt it was a waste of money.

You can pay for a preferred room at the Caribbean and possibly the POR-Riverside (I'm not sure about POR).

We have paid extra for a water view at POFQ both times, and had a view of the river...beautiful!
We did pay extra for water view at CSR too, for our upcoming trip, as we really don't want a parking lot view. I hope it's worth it!
