Free Waterparks & More?
Does anyone know if they ever offer the free waterparks & more option anymore? We got it when we came in January 2007, but I'd forgotten about it and not seen it since. I see room discounts or free dining, but not this one...

I haven't seen it, but now that it's only about $55 to add the waterparks and more option to the tickets, it wouldn't be a promotion most people would go for IMO.
Free dining is about that same price per night. So, you'd have an option of saving $275 per person (age 10+) with the dining on a 5 night trip or only $55 with the waterparks added for your trip. |

I think in almost all instances, you'd be better off with a room discount or free dining.
Not sure if you are aware, but the Waterparks option is now cheaper if you also add Park hopping (and vice versa).

I haven't seen that discount since 2007. We got it for our first trip in April 2007. It also included a free park hopper. I have found that other discounts are a way better value than that was. . For a 9 day trip that only saved us around 200.00 for two adults. We were newbies and didn't know better. Lol. The really bad part is we didn't even go to the waterparks. We were too busy doing the rest and didn't know if we would ever be back. We did use the park hopper at least.

remember also that they are more than likely (logically) going to move away from the add on features...
I would think we'll see on two options (outside of florida resident tickets in the future: 1. Length of Stay Magic Your Way (old Ultimate park hopper) 2. Annual Pass This is where they're headed.

they will be all or nothing across the board...and everyone will pay for it to fund the Syndicate. Day tickets will remain for one time customers and florida resident tickets will still be there to preserve the "backstop" of the local market for when times turn bad. just my take. Disneyland eliminated the no expiration last year and i would bet florida will do the same as soon as possible. the park hopper feature could be eliminated and rolled into the price without causing major alarm. disney has almost given away the waterpark option for years...as they aren't widely used and only benefit disney by keeping you there and out of aquatica and potterworld. the writing seems to be on the wall on this.

I can't live without the park hopper, but I haven't used the waterparks (and more) since 1991. Now that the rooms are giving 2 tickets to DisneyQuest, I'm pretty much good to go.
I wouldn't be horrified if the ticketing were simplified to include all across X days, but as long as they are seperate, it's just PH for me. |

If you already have hopping on your ticket, it is only $22.00 ($23.43 including tax) to add WPF&M to your ticket.

Another poster already mentioned guests who aren't staying on Disney property. I guess Disney could come up with a new series of tickets, just for onsite guests. Do we think Disney giving onsite guests tickets which include hopping and water parks for a price similar to what non-resort guests would pay for base tickets would help resort bookings? |

we are getting two connecting rooms for our family of 5, so if this is true - then we'd have four of the five tickets we'd need....that is great news so i hope it is true! i will verify when i call to add on my package in june :-)

And I'm hoping they leave this deal because we have 7 day Park Hoppers and we're staying in August. I just have a feeling that this deal ($22 upgrade) won't last when they do their next ticket price adjustment (which will probably happen any day now). But that upgrade is a great deal, even if you use it to cash in on miniature golf. I just hope the discount sicks around.
