We tell the "children" tonight. Just found out yesterday that DD is to check into college dorm 8/16. Must call today and arrange for her to arrive 8/17.
I'm planning a Disney theme dinner tonight and my girls think we are planning a theme dinner every night for the next few days. Just for fun while they are home. Hope these new storms brewing stay away!

Well...I left my kids speechless and then excited. They thought the "tickets" in the sand pail on the table as a center piece were old tickets. Even after reading them they were at first confused. It was great.

Well...I'm working today until 2:30. Then it's off to run a couple last minute errands, get the packing finished. We'll be up bright and early tomorrow to get the dog dropped off and then head over to the port! I'm so ready!

When we got in the car this morning for the long drive home, I said "Well I guess we can all take our lanyards off now," but it was kind of sad to do it and DH is still wearing his -- it's hard to return to lanyard-free life! Thanks so much to kpros and those who provided the custom lanyards -- I had several castmembers and other cruisers ask me where I got mine.
And thanks to everyone for the awesome FE gifts! This was our first time participating in a FE exchange and it was such a delight! I think checking the FE pockets every time we opened the door was the highlight of the cruise for my kids, and maybe us too! Everyone was so generous, and we loved all the gifts: the memo boards were so useful, the magnets to decorate our door (although we need A LOT more to compete with a few of you!), the custom pens and post-its, the yummy English chocolates, the fun pirate toys, the Disney pins, the wonderful handmade items -- so many great and useful things! Thanks so much to everyone! |

We are waiting at the airport for our flight home. Scott is researching flights for our trip to Europe next summer. We had a great cruise, thanks for all the FE gifts! It was great meeting those folks we had not met yet, and it was great seeing all our old friends again!

It was great to meet those of you that we were able to meet with. Thank you to everyone for the great FE gifts. We had a wonderful cruise and can't wait to get back onboard. We're at Kidani for a week and loving it. We went to AK to see the parade and eat at Tusker House for dinner. It was the least crowded I've ever seen AK. I hope it's like that in the rest of the parks this week. We are going to Sea World tomorrow and then the Disney Parks and Universal through next Monday when we fly home.
