Wow Brenda! Jury duty was never a favorite thing for me. It's a very interesting process, but I've always dreaded it because there would be an enormous amount of work once I got back to the work place. Hope it goes well for you today.

Alex and Carolyn - you were always on our FE list! Great job on the races! Did I remember correctly that you will not be out for the DL 1/2? Looks like I may have to skip that race - knee surgery as soon as we get back from the cruise - but we will see how quickly I heal. Are you doing the Disney 5K on Castaway Cay?

I can't believe this cruise is only 2 weeks away! I really need to start my packing! I am usually packed by now, and would be going thru the "did I pack that?" unpacking to check, then repacking routine - that is even when I keep a list of what I have packed

Cooler here today - cloudy but no lightning this morning so the dogs and I got in our 3 mile walk. It is not clearing up, so I do not know if I will get in my bike ride for today.

Good Morning Everyone! Another day closer to the cruise!!

We have talked a little about getting together for a pre-cruise meet at Disney World. We would be happy to host that at Old Key West Resort on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 2 - 4 or 5. Some soft drinks (and maybe a few harders ones) and light snacks will be available. Name badges and lanyards will be available for pickup.

If you are interested, please RSVP via this thread or PM so I will have idea of how many might be attending.

I don't know our room number at Old Key West yet, but we arrive on August 8, so I will post it at that time.

Hi, Ken. I don't think that we will be able to make it. We ADRs at 4:30. We would have to do so serious traveling to make it. But if anything changes, I will you know. Otherwise, we will see you either at the terminal or on the ship.

Oh, and looking at my friend's FE starting me thinking that we should a contest on the BEST FE. But, I haven't firgured out all of the logistics yet.

We are not doing the DL 1/2, we will be in Virginia Beach doing a rock n roll 1/2. On castaway we are going to do 7-8 miles as soon as we can get off the ship. The 5K doesn't fit into our training program. Alex

Good Morning All!

We had another night of hauling wet soggy stuff out of the crawl space. Some friends came over to help... which was a God send. It was taking far too long with just myself and Joe!

We are past the numb stage, and are amazed at the amount of Coca Cola things Joe has collected. Of course, some of the paper things sadly had to be discarded, but boy oh boy... the bottle collection! WOW!

Thanks again to everyone for your concern.

Can't wait to get on the SHIP!!!
