Ken , will the auction finish before the Cruise?????

Georgie, great pic, we might have spring sometime.

WOW May already, bills are paid and it continues to Rain.

Got Lynn's motor bike kinda together, battery in and now need to re install the plastic. Getting to the battery is a 45 min job.

Put a shelf and electricity (gotta have power for the Frozen concoction Machine) in the Tiki Bar, kinda heavy ( still portable LOL) so I built a trailer to move it around LOL, yes I can pull the Tiki Bar with the tractor.

Still raining here, it is good as we need the moisture, might just brave the elements and hit the bricks or maybe wimp out on the TM.

Will be interviewing folks tomorrow for a position in my office, then we will convene at the Adventures Club to discuss the candidates. Jack I will have to use the question you posted the other day. Will see if we get as good of a response.

Will be in San Jose 5/12 and Lynn will also tag along and run up to Santa Rosa to see her dad.

We just registered for the Race for the Taste, actually paying for a room as we are out of DVC points LOL, this will be interesting... LOL

Good Evening Cruisers - caught up after of nearly a week off the computer!

Brenda - good luck with the move!

Alex - we heard from out other friends who did that race that it was very hilly. Great time in spite of the hills.

Georgie - that is a great accomplishment - walking every day for 2 weeks! You deserve a day off now and then.

Good Morning Cruisers! Happy Monday!

Is everyone sleeping in this morning?

My temporary job with the Census Bureau will be finished this week - all I still have to do is collect my crew's hand held computers and do the release paperwork for each of them - then haul everything down to Colorado and hand in my own hand held computer - then, maybe, I will have time to check these boards with my morning coffee again! But the extra money has been nice - I almost have my American Express bill paid off

Good Morning, Everyone.

Boy, am I sore!!! This weekend was moving day for us. I can't believe all the friends that showed up to help out. It was great. And the amazing thing is, is that only one thing was broken and that was something that we had been thinking about getting rid of anyway.

But now the fun starts; looking for things. Right now, we are looking for our new pots and pans and some of my shoes that seem to be M.I.A. What's a girl to do

We, or I should say 'I', still have junk in the old house that needs to be taken care of. My sister should be there today working of that. My mom, sister, niece, DH and I all cleaned the old place pretty good. We need to do some touch ups but that is about it. Oh, my DH is fixing the curtin rod that broke in the Master bedroom under the weight of all of my clothes

My mom is a cleaning fanatic, which is one of the reason that I wanted her to help out. But she cleaning the place to a point that it is cleaner than when I first moved in!!! It looks almost as good as our new place. Too funny.

I hope that everyone had a great weekend and we are that much closer to our cruise. I will have to catch up on this thread.

Brenda - congrats on the move! Have fun unpacking - we still have boxes in our basement that have not yet been unpacked since our move 2 1/2 yrs ago. The problem is that I have no place to put the junk in the boxes, so I just have not unpacked them yet

Brenda, that's great you had your Mom, the Power Cleaner with you! Friends and family can make all the difference in making a move easier.

Good luck with all of the boxes. We still have some in the garage, some in the attic, some in what we call our attic barn, and some in the basement! And, it's amazing... we're living quite well without the contents of all of those boxes!

Hi, Everyone. Just popping in real quick with an update. My sister is busy cleaning the old place up for us and packing up the last bit of junk that I have over there. We should be able to turn the keys over to the landlord tomorrow night.

Brenda - hope you are getting the new house organized.

I am now officially unemployed again and back to living on my retirement. I spent the last 3 days collecting computers and census stuff from everyone and yesterday hauled it all down to Denver. It was fun while it lasted, but now maybe I can get back into a routine and get my everyday stuff done! Like get on the boards more regularly!
