Wow! At these prices, what a bundle we would have saved driving in April vs. flying. We'd still save a bunch pulling the trailer and camping at the Fort. Now if I could just find a way to pull that off. Not likely before '10, and I'm sure the prices will be back into the sky by then...

The cheapest gas we saw on I-75 on the drive was $2.07 for unleaded in Georgia.

I just ran the numbers again, gas has come down enough in the last week to save us $85 on our trip... and that is based on NC prices which are higher than the states we'll travel through. Yippie!

on Friday afternoon when I filled up it was $1.90. That evening it was $1.89. I have not gone to town to see what it is now.
