May 9th

Today we got up late and took our time. We are going to the Princess and Pirate party tonight, so we want to be rested for the event, we want to have a long and fun evening.
We took our breakfast on the porch as usual, but today instead of cute golfers playing, we were greeted by a huge turtle. It made it's way on the lawn and for a minute I thought it was going on the porch just below us.

We watched the turtle for about 30 minutes, finishing our breakfast and then relax at the resort, fully taking advantage of the restaurants and pool.
We put on our costumes and headed to Magic Kingdom around 4pm.

We enjoyed a quick bite at Peco Bills, and cooled down for a while. It was scorching hot out there.

When we got out, that part of the park was in the shade, we entered Pirates, Haunted Mansion without any wait, we took pictures and got some beads.

We noticed a lot of people still in the park without bracelets, but buy 7pm, all the entrances to the rides were blocked off by CM, only letting people with bracelets in and directing others without them to the exit. Needless to say, some people were very upset and argued with the CMs to let them pass.

We did a lot of attractions without any wait... my DD and I rode Big Mountain Railroad 4 times without getting off.. it was a great evening.
The Parade was amazing, just beautiful and magical. The fireworks were also amazing... without any big crowds around... what a special way to experience the park.

We left the park around 11:45 pm

[COLOR="Navy"]May 10th, Ryan's birthday

Today was my DS birthday, he chose to have lunch at Sci-Fi, so we went to spend some time at Hollywood Studios.

Food was wonderful as always and service with a smile,

We went to see the Little Mermaid, The Great Movie Ride, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, Animation court and did some shopping.
By then the sun was scorching hot and the kids wanted to go swim at the resort, so off we went to OKW for some fun in the pool.
We had diner at Olivia's once again and then went to Downtown Disney where I met up with "Sha"... it was nice to meet up with someone from the Dis... I have to do a Dismeet one of these days

May 11th, our last day

Today was Mother's Day, we had reservations at Kona for breakfast. The food was fabulous.

Breakfast for my son, pancakes

My daughter's breakfast

And my Mom, sister and I took this fabulous plate, it was a brunch plate, very good.

After the meal, we walked around the resort, did a little shopping, and exploring outside, what a beautiful resort.

We then walked around Magic Kingdom and did one last time our favorite attractions, then headed back to OKW. The kids wanted to enjoy the pool once again before our departure the next day.
I feel so sad on that last day, the kids too and they want to do everything and take in the scene.

We had reservations for a late supper at Rainforest Cafe... we started our trip with that restaurant and wanted to end with it too. We had a great meal.
Kids pizza

Mom's chicken fried chicken

My sis and I took the Jungle Steak and Shrimp, this is my sister's plate, my steak was well done ha!

My sister and son, she spoils my kids wayyyy to much ha! ha!

We had to go back to the resort and get our things in order for our morning departure...

Our return Home

We got up early and waited for the bus to take us back to the airport. I was so sad, I really enjoyed myself there and did not want to go back home.

We took some pictures at the airport and headed for our gate.

We had a direct flight from Orlando to Syracuse, NY, we arrived to our final destination and still had a 3 hours drive to Ottawa, Ont. Canada.
As we entered the van, it would not start, then I noticed that I had left the plug on for the portable Dvds.... aaah! NO!!!! Then it dawned on me, just before we arrived at the airport some 10 days before, my sis mentionned, "Just get us to the airport, then if the anything happens, it's after the trip and we could deal with it".... WELL, we had to deal with it now, in our haste and excitement to leave for Disney, I did not check the plugs ...
Oh! well, she called her CAA and they came and replaced the battery, because it was old and not sure if we turned off the van, that it would start up again... This took well over an hour and then we were off...
The rest of the trip was smooth sailings all the way to Ottawa. ha! ha!
I can't wait to go back and make more memories, and have other adventures.
...
