Hi everyone! Well we made it and it has been the best first day ever. First time we have ever brought our lap top with us (DH needs to stay in touch with the office) and while he sleeps I can get started on our dining review!

We head over to Planet Hollywood but the menu is pretty blah for lunch so we decided to just go check out WPE and see the new dining room. It is beautiful, tons of inside seating and a much better way of ordering...

DH and I always share everything so it takes us longer to order than most people, we need to make sure we both like what the other one wants He chose the Mu Shu Chicken Pocket and a cherry coke. It was fantastic, full of great chicken and Asian slaw, lots of celery and sesame seeds, had a great back heat....yummy parmesan cheese potato chips but some were still chewy instead of crunchy.



I had the BBQ Quesadilla. It was huge and fantastic as always. The Mango tea is gone but they have a new Tropical tea and it was great. FYI they also have a SWEET TEA for all you sweet tea lovers out there.



We shared a side salad, Organic Baby Greens with vinagrette. It was very good.



Grabbed a chocolate chip cookie, these are DA BOMB and I bought 6 more to snack on this week...I am sure I will be back to get more.



Total cost with the 10% AP savings was $28 and change.

Dinner tonight was the Beirgarten, DH's fav place. We were supposed to go at 6:30 but DH was hungry around 4:45 so we took a chance and went to the podium to see if they could take us earlier, they said sure thing and we were seated right then and there. They were taking alot of walk ups.

We were seated with 4 other parties of 2 and no one spoke except the nice couple across from us...very friendly couple. The show was just starting as we sat down with our "FIRST PLATES!"

The potato leek soup was very salty, dont remember it being that way the last time I had it...I couldnt eat it but DH loved it.



This is DH's plate, good luck figuring out what the heck he is eating!



We both got different food items and shared. The cold sausages were very good, killer macaroni salad, tomato salad, cucumber salad, they had herring salad but we dont eat that. The pretzel rolls were a bit hard but still very good, they had roasted pork that was very good, the pork schnitzel was out of this world, killer brauts with kraut, the potato dumplings were weird...very doughy. The hot dogs were very mushy, roasted chicken was great, the beef roulades were great (especially with the wine sauce), awesome spaetzel, roasted potatoes, carrots...it was all fantastic!

Dessert was OMIGOD SLAP YOU MAMA (or anyone's mama ) GOOD! I was going to get us one dinner plate of desserts to share but then I turned into a pig and made DH get his own! The Bavarian Cheesecake was so super light and creamy you thought you died and went to heaven...and then they had this little cup or Berry Compote...reminds me of the Rice Cream topping in Norway, and I put that on top of the cheesecake and I was in LOVE! The vanilla pudding was a very bland version, not sweet at all. The Apple Strudel was very good with super tart apples and I drowned that sucker in vanilla sauce..you could hear the apples asking for a life raft!

So DH comes back to the table with the sad face, no more berry compote left but luckily I had half a cup left for him. He liked everything, including the almond butter cookies.

WE OINKED OUT! But was it worth it! Total cost with the DDE (including the tip) was $64 and change.

Now DH thought I was nuts but for my DIS peeps I went to the buffet tables and took pics...hope you can see them!

We called it a night early because we were up so early this morning. Surprised that Epcot was not off the wall crowded. Thew new Spaceship Earth was cute, nothing WOW there...most is the same as before.

On the way out we picked up a Peach Tea Schnapps from the Joy of Tea in China...all I can tell ya is this thing rocks and should be in every park and resort. I can see us drinking many of these this week. About $6 each but SOOOO worth it.



Tomorrow morning we are headed to Boma for breakfast, first time there...then it is a pool day for us...the forecast for the end of the week calls for rain so we had to switch plans up a bit. Who knows what we will eat for lunch and will we stick to our Plaza ressie for dinner? (We already gave up Raglan Road as DH did not like the menu). And oh my, MK is open very late tomorrow so what snacks will we get?? Stay tuned ya'll!

Sounds like you're having good times and good eats so far. I'm really looking forward to your Boma review for breakfast - the hubby and I are thinking of trying it this October.

Thanks for the live updates. Loving your reviews. You made me sorry we aren't doing Biergarten this year (friends of ours are going for the 1st time and they really want to go to Rose & Garden so we'll have to wait for Biergarten until our next visit).

I didn't know WPE was changing their dining area. Is it all inside seating now? How did it change? I love that place. OMG, that pic of the quesadilla has me drooling on the keyboard.
