I will send prayers & pixie dust your way. I agree. You can't cancel this close to it.

I got my room request---even better--Our rooms weren't near each other but in the same building (granted Casitas 4!) and Luisito told us our rooms wouldnt be ready till 5 pm...ok I said and then he got quickly on the phone and got us a room change (didnt even ask!) to 3rd floor adjoining rooms over looking the pool! Which meant a waterview upgrade for my best friend and her family! The manager that was on yesterday was awesome too---he saw us walk in (no real line) and told us to go to Concierge to check in...he said we shouldnt have to wait. The staff has been awesome!!! The mousekeepers have been so friendly pointing out or Grand Gathering Pins, my friends First Visit pins...and now last night I got engaged (shhhh don't tell me readers on my TR!!!!) @ Le Cellier and got a "Just Married" pin edited that says 'Just Engaged'. Everyone we have encountered has been great, crowds are low...weather remains icky, but busses are running smooth and the resort is pretty dead.

Just thought Id update quick....Time for a nap and then Hollywood Studios

Congrats on everything!

With the new beds, should we request a room with the new beds or do they even know which rooms have them? This is our first stay at CSR and were attracted by the possibility of getting queen beds, but weren't sure when they would be available. Since they have been installed in some rooms, is it possible that we will get a queen size bed in a standard view room or are they only in the more expensive rooms? Can I call now to make the request for this Saturday when we arrive?

All the rooms have queen beds. According to Jayme, they have finished the ranchos and are working on the casitas. 4 & 5 are done.

Rancho or cabana...7b

Leisure guests may come to El Centro once or twice; but they will be at the buses twice a day (at least) and the pool often when they are at the resort.

IM confused...isnt 7b a Rancho - not a cabana?
When I look at it on this map - it looks that way.

Those comforters are going to go bye-bye starting in October.
I'm not working at the Nado this week. I'm at Saratoga Springs for the week, because they needed the help. I'll be back there on Sunday, so I'll get a queen bed update.

I'll be glad to see those comforters going bye-bye. They have had a long, long life and it's time to go. Hope that we'll see the new ones when we arrive on 10/15. Enjoy SSR.

Question Time!!!

Okay so is Bus Stop 1 at the resort the first people to get on the bus? Sometimes? All the time? What's da scoop? I want a seat you see and if that means walking 15 minutes to El Centro while passing 2 more stops along the way I'll do it.

Park buses start at bus stop #2. DtD and park exit buses start at bus stop #1.
