There are 124 king rooms located throughout the resort. I couldn't find the picture of the bathroom with a roll in shower. I don't know how many of the 124 have roll in showers or where they are located.

Hi Buzz,

I'm sure you've answered this many times before, but what is the preferred method of making specific room requests? Also, might you or anyone else have a picture of a handicap room? Among our 5 total rooms, one will need to be handicap.

I see that they are planning room renovations in most of 2009. We are planning on going in May. Do you think this will affect the enjoyability of our vaction?

We're planning on visiting in May 2009 too and were wondering if the renovations would have any impact on our stay???

Sorry to be a pain, but does anyone know what year the last room refurbishments were done at CSR?

I guess it depends on what they are doing. We were there during the last rehab in April 2005 and we saw the painters walking to the buildings and painting during the day but since we spent most of the day at the parks it didn't effect us.

I heard from KatMark about the room refurbishment. This will not start until October 2008. They informed her it would start in October and would take "about a year" to complete all the sections of the resort. They gave her no indication of where, Casitas, Cabanas or Ranchos, they would start.

Me too that's why I finally decided to ask. Of course even if the answer is "yes" I won't change my trip. I'll just make sure my DH walks in front of me, stomping his feet rather loudly.

I've only read one post in all my years on the DIS that someone saw a snake at CSR.

I ran into one at FW. I was teasing my DW about it and said don't step on that snake (I thought it was a branch) and it moved. We both jumped when it did.

Thanks Buzz. I'll cancel the order on those heavy boots I was going to make DH wear during our trip.

Only 199 days to go for us and then we get to see CSR first hand!!

Does anyone know if the Gelato at Cafe Rix is on the DDP plan for a snack credit?

Does anyone know if there are towels available at the pool areas at CSR? Do I need to pack beach towels in our luggage? I am so hoping they have them so I don't have to lug them.

The main pool has towels. I have heard that the quiet pools do not and there are signs in the room to take your room towels and they will bring you extra towels. However, we always stay in the Casitas section of the Coronado, and when we go to the Quiet Pool every day, there are always towels there.
