I figured it was about time to post my first itinerary. Yes - we know it will probably be tinkered with, especially if I can add a couple of days to get over my sadness of not going with tiggerbell and rhondalee.

Couple of points - we won't be making any rope drops...ok, we never have. But I told DH he could sleep a little this trip, meaning we won't get to the parks until 10ish

but only for planning;

when you go - take index cards with only the details you need on them (i.e., ressie #s, park schedules, ADRs and hotel and "other stuff" schedules)

I am so jealous, you two sound so much like DH and me your planning details sound awesome ~ ergo- I am TOTALLY hooked! No lie

Have you been to the outlets yet? DS took me there just this past December - he'd leave me in the Disney Character Outlet store while he walked the entire plaza. seriously.

I see LTT for your MNSSHP nite...book it EARLY! I've missed going there because I waited too long to call

Have you ever done F&WF? If you eat as much as we have you may not need lunch *and* dinner...I personally would go with just dinner. Maybe France has their soup out in the kiosk for F&WF, WDWIG would have the menus if you really wanted to see.

Your whole trip sounds really well planned out...I look forward to reading more - esp with your husbands responses~

I read some of it to my DH last night cause I think yours is that funny - that's huge in my world

Tee hee This is exactly what I did last time..I laminated them and everything and had one for each day. DH still made fun of me, but yet again he had a great trip due to the months of planning (a concept he still does not understand! )

Why thank you so much...and if you ever get your DH to actually plan (unlike mine who thinks it just happens and you can change all your ADR's two weeks out! ) let me know how you did it!

Yep - love the outlets. I always try and get there the first day so I can buy a bunch of stuff and then I'll know what's left to by for people at home. We usually only hit the same one...DH will have to say where it is.

I'm sorry you missed it. This is one of DH's requests so I'm trying to fit it in. Of course, if the Bears have a game late that day or night, who knows what will happen! My calling time is next week...fingers crossed we get everything!

I think this effects DH more than me as I will admit to being a picky eater. I tend more to try wines around the world. I wish France had the French Onion Soup as a taste...I have lots of them but alas, have never seen it, so we have to stop in for a bowl.

Why thank you for the information. I think it's Prime outlets that we always hit as I remember getting stuck on I Int'l Drive once and it was worse than Chicago rush hour on a Friday! But if DH ever comes back I'm sure he'll correct me if I am wrong

As expected, I've messed with the itinerary already. Since this is our first trip "home" as DVC members I'd really like to hit "Welcome Home Wednesdays" at the Boardwalk. Hey - gotta get something for handing over all that cash! So that meant flipping days around. OH and tonight DH starts in again about, don't forget..I want to go here and here. Arrghhh - it is two days before ADR's and I thought I had set where and when to go. So now I'm going to go with a longer itinerary and hope he can switch a day at work to get us down there a day early.

Nahh - I just put everything into piles...although the binder may just magically appear one day right before the trip

So the time comes for us to book all our ADR's - meaning I had to be up at 6am on Sunday Yep - so much for sleeping in on the weekend. But it paid off - pixie dust was with us and we got everything we wanted within a couple of minutes or right on of when we requested. Although I'm sure DH will try and change it all anyway right before the trip like always

So we now have:

So all is well and I email the DIL's of what we have...uh oh, we now have changes. So luckily I call today and I can still move everything around and get the times I wanted. Things moved days which means we'll have a new agenda again. Oh and the Grand Floridian Cafe is out and Citricos is now in.

And I'd like to point out that NONE of the restaurants were my pick...looks like they are going to be all MINE on our 2009 trip

Although in all fairness and for a fear DH will argue with me on this.."Our" picks were Boma and Chef's for soup...otherwise I chose nothing, nada, zippo. Hmmmm maybe staying an extra day or two would pay off so I can have a Tyry pick And I do like everywhere we will be dining, except maybe Norway as that one has me worried.

And as for our intinerary, Thursday will now be a play day and Friday we'll head to the Animal Kingdom. Hopefully, this will be the last of flipping the days around.

I've eaten in Norway for dinner...it's notsobad....the only thing I didn't like I never like anyway (salmon.) Everything else was different but good. Esp the meatballs in gravy~

I have not tried Raglan road...is there even a play day that you'll wind up downtown to where you may try Raglan Road on the fly? If you do a review would be most appreciated~

Wolfgang Puck's Sushi is my hubby and BIL's new favorite for food on the fly while downtown~

Well it's not ADR changes this time - now it's hotel changes. I'm still trying to stretch this vacation the best I can and hoping DH can get the Friday before we should be leaving off. I had us booked into All Star Music for Friday and Sat night. Figuring we'd arrive sometime on Friday if we took off right after he gets off work on Thursday night.

Of course if you ask him you'd get "of course we could be there on Friday - it's only a two hour plane flight"

Anyway, just for the heck of it and never thinking there would be anything available since it is the first weekend of the F&W Fest, I called DVC to see if a BW or BC studio would be available. We really could use the points for our big 2009 trip, but I figured what the heck...we could always borrow from 2010

I really didn't think it would come to that like I said but lo and behold they had a standard view studio available. GREAT! I will take it. It will eat my points but isn't that what they are for...and no cash out of pocket for All Stars means more to buy things with

I kind of slyly ran it past DH by asking if he would stay at the BWV even without a BW view...he thought about it and I thought he would say no, but then stunned me by saying yes. Whoo hooo...our first time as DVC members and we'll get to experience not only our home resort, but BW as well. For some reason I see me getting very little sleep for the first two nights being that close to so many things and the fact the MK is open till Midnight on Saturday!
