DDP and Planet Hollywood Voucher - The DIS Discussion Forums

We purchased the Dining Plan and along with our MYW package, we have a voucher for a $15 meal voucher at Planet Hollywood. I have made an ADR for Planet Hollywood for a table service meal, so how can we alsouse the voucher. Can it be used for an appetizer or for alcoholic beverages? I just would like to be able to use it as well as the TS meal included in the dining plan. Thanks.

The DDP can not be used in conjunction with the voucher.

You can however, sit at the bar first, and order an appetizer there (making sure to pay seperately).

You also get a merchandise voucher. Anyone know what the value of it is?

On my itinerary from WDW Travel Co., it says Planet Hollywood Merchandise voucher, 1 per package, but does not say what the value is. It does state that the Meal Voucher is worth $15.

Last week the merchandise voucher was for a Planet Hollywood keychain. We had the DDP and tried to use the voucher for drinks. The waiter said wheter or not we could use it with the DDP depended on the manager that was there and what kind of business they were doing that day. He went to ask the manager if he could accept it but then came back and said "what was he thinking, the voucher couldn't be used for alcohol". Had we tried to order an appetizer, they might have accepted it.

However, go ahead and go to Planet Hollywood. We were pleasantly surprised. This was one of the best meals of our trip. The portion sizes are HUGE (you don't need an appetizer), food was really good, and our waiter was OUTSTANDING. Never did our drink even get half empty. He brought us extras at no charge for our 2 y.o. who wasn't on the plan.

hi, does anyone know if the Planet Hollywood voucher can be used at other locations? I am on DDP and wanted to save the voucher for our trip to Myrtle Beach, as I hate for it to be wasted.

we will be there a day early. but the voucher says you have to produce your room ID? are they strict on that?

I have a question too!

My parents are coming with us on our trip, under a separate ressie, so we will each have our own $15 vouchers. If both mom and dad and DH and I want to use our vouchers, but are paying separately, can we still sit together at the same table? I know it sounds like a silly question, but I think the voucher says that it's only 1 per party. Anyone have any experience with this?

Anyone know if you can use the voucher to order like a kid's meal? Our baby is only 15 months old, so he's not on the DDP. We have the DDP, but can we order lunch for him with it?

We used 2 of these last Jan. on our trip. We had 2 rooms at POP and we put the $30 towards our meal. No problems then.

I have a quick question about this voucher too. We are meeting a friend that lives in Orlando, and treating him to dinner our first night in town. We kind of thought we would go to PH because of the voucher. Since we are on the DDP, and obviously he is not, can we ask for his bill on a different check, and use the voucher to put toward his purchase???
