Hi again,

Can someone please tell me how to get the "mouse surfers" logo onto my signature page?

I'd also like to be able to copy it for a door magnet, etc. if possible...can someone send me the link to the original? I know someone on this thread must have designed it...

Welcome back Frank! Was wondering what happened to you.

For us, shore excursions are not high on our priority list. Since my mom's coming along too, she's familiar with St. Thomas and she wants to do shopping with the DW. Tortola, which we're really excited about, we are registered with the Kayaking off Peter Island and then we might take a ferry over to these pools that some are raving about on this thread. If not, we'll find a cab to take us to some beaches.

Peter Island, well, the kiddies will stay with their programs, and mommy and daddy will enjoy the adult beach.

Question for the experienced cruisers; are people allowed to swim out to the Flying Dutchman? Or is it off limits?

FYI, you cannot swim to the Flying Dutchman. It is off limits.

However, I did read somewhere that you can get closer to it by taking the jet-ski excursion. I'm not positive on that, but I read something somewhere...

Here is some quick info on the places to visit in Tortola...it also mentions a ferry that travels between Tortola and St. Thomas in case anyone misses the boat...hope that doesn't happen.

my husband says they will, but he really doesn't know for sure.
It just would seem appropriate.

Wilderness after dinner at Chef Mickeys and hope to see Wishes while on the ride. We are staying in Kidani for 2 nights and trying out Bay Lake Towers the third/final night.

The Princess & the Frog premiere and Jim Carrey's Christmas Carol? That would be a great pair of events to watch on a day at sea if the kids get bored (NOT!). Maybe DW and I will get a show or 2 in while kiddies are busy.

They usually run any Disney/Miramax/Touchstone pictures that are in theatres on the cruise as well

Finally on our 7th cruise the upgrade fairy has struck Our TA jsut emailed, DCL has offered to let us upgrade from our category 11 to a 9 for $150

I doubt that would be available for us as having adjoining outside cabins would mean an upgrade would be to adjoining navigator's balcony which I assume's already filled up.

That's awesome. I wish we could be that lucky. We tend to book a Cat 9 on Deck 2 with a pothole. We are DVC members and never seem to have enough points for all three of us for a stateroom with a Verandah. Maybe this will be the year we buy more points.

Come to think of it, we haven't received our confirmation letter from DVC or DCL regarding the change to Tortola, so I guess there is still time for that.

Opps! Hope my co-workers don't read this thread, I'll never hear the end of that one since I'm a technical writer too.

I will say one cruise we had a squeaky ceiling. We were on Deck 2 under the main walkway. That was pretty bad.

Hi

This will be our first cruise. We are really looking forward to it. We are DVC members but did not book this cruise using points. We are category 8, I believe with late dining.

My dh and I will be traveling with our two kids, dd 12 and ds 10. DS is looking forward to the Oceaneer Club, where as dd is concerned there won't be things for kids her age to do that she will enjoy. I am certain once she gets on the cruise ship she'll have fun. Any advice for a first time cruiser from you veterans would be much appreciated.
