Tracy forgive me, Lac, not Luc LOL It was CRAZY windy and pouring rain. I do know what state we were in though!
 Lynn we have friends up that way that were stuck in Laramie for 2 days due to wind. Will it ever end? We have been bucking wind all day today across Kansas. We are 300miles from Denver now. We have to go over Vail tonight. I hope its not too bad. Be safe on the road to Denver! Skies look sketchy ahead of us. |

Hi everyone!
This weather is crazy down south too. I was surprised to read that those of you up north still have snow. But, then again, this cool front is coming through today & our high on Monday is 45 ...  !!!We're having friends over for a crawfish boil today. One set of friends is interested in maybe doing a DCL cruise. I'm trying to convince them in joining us for this one. Wish me luck. Ang

Hey!! We had some crazy weather yesterday too...but we got lucky and all the tornado warnings were in all the counties surrounding us...but we didn't have to "duck and cover" at all!
 I was surprised to see all the snow on TV too!! Then dh told me this am that on sunday night/monday morning they are reporting we might get snow flurries...in April  I hope you can talk your friends into going on this cruise. I'm still working on two different friends and their DH's to come along with us!!  Today is another "ds day". Off to get his hair cut, new golf glove, book store, Johnny Rockets for lunch, then to see Nims Island! He's been asking questions about the cruise this week. He's already getting in cruise mode!!

Saving from page 2!!
Hope everyone is doing OK. Been a pretty busy week here. Dad is back in the hospital and they are afraid the cancer has spread to his bones. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this isn't why he is in so much pain. Ds has been busy with golf and school work. We had another "Brandon day" this weekend! Its funny...we do things that we normally would do...but by calling it HIS day...ds enjoys it so much more!! We saw Nims island this weekend and it was a pretty cute movie. I've been working on the web pages, finally adding some wedding pictures on there...it's still a work in progress. I also need to update our cruise list this week!! So....did everyone get their taxes done?? (we did ours about a month ago and already have the return by direct deposit! )

Hi folks! I'm here! Just been really busy lately!
We will be home tomorrow after 3 months of working. Whew! I'm ready to relax a bit. Also, on my quest to lose weight for my health I am THRILLED to report that after 3 solid months of diet, exercise, hard work and willpower, I have lost 30lbs!!!!!! I'm am excited and I feel so much better. Hopefully by the time I go on this cruise I will be a skinnie minnie! Hope everyone is having a great day! We should be home tomorrow by lunch time, after a grocery shopping stop at the whole foods in birmingham! |

Heather: so sorry to hear the news about your dad......I hope everything turns out OK.
PITink: WTG about the weight loss! That's an amazing amount in 3 months. Everyone else (or maybe I should say MOSTLY everyone else): why is everyone so camera shy? How will we recognize you on the ship if you guys don't post photos? Heather set up a really nice Cruise roster for us and only a handful are using it. Now that's no way to show your gratitude.....send your photos, please!
