Laura and Angie, the only time I've been in Atlanta was the year before the Olympics (can't remember when that was), and I remember it as a beautiful city. It's a shame to think of all the damage. I can't imagine a building actually being moved by a storm and thinking that it was normal  Laura, I know what you mean about putting up with the teen years....again. What was I thinking!

Wow...$32 for the both of you??? I'd never find that!! I was happy to find $70 for one person!
 I can't believe all the damage in Atlanta. I hope it can all be cleaned up asap! The story about the Westin building is a bit scary  I would tell you ds and bride to be to stay elsewhere the night before the honeymoon also!!

And he has spent some time at his aunt/uncles house. Only 4 days left!! He did get excited about the cruise when I told him about Ocean Quest...he wants to go online and read more about the 7 day cruise!

I see some familiar faces/names!
We MAY be booking this one. My stepson graduates in 09, and we are patiently awaiting his grad date to be announced so we can see if we can sail the 23rd or if we have to go on the western for the following week. We should know something by May! Hi Peter, Jenn, Emily, Jason, Tracy, Bill and anyone else I know that I missed!!!!!! |

OK OK OK US too we may book this one, would be fun to go on and send a two weeks notice from the ship.
Silly me I thopught this was a 2008 cruise. Just too busy to notice the date.  We will see, are the DVC points out there yet for this puppy????? Hey blame Kevin and Cyndy.

Now if we could just find out this kids graduation date.........I'm calling the school tomorrow. He is super excited, as are we. If dates turn out right, it will be: me (Cyndi, wife, compulsive planner and lover of all things BEER) Kevin (hubby, disney lover, loves frufru girly drinks) Alex (Kevins son, graduating from HS in May 09, will be 18 upon sailing) Patricia (DMIL, rooming with Alex) Crossing fingers that the dates work out! |

I hope all that have posted can join the cruise ... the more, the merrier! We just need some younger kids so my kids can make some new friends.
Heather, our last day of school this year is Friday, May 23. Next year the last day is Friday, May 22. I would think that unless your county does something drastic, you'll be ok. May have to do some cruise talking tonight. Went to Ashley's Easter parade, hunt & party today. Vacation came up in a conversation with another parent (friend). She asked when we were going on the cruise and said that they would like to look in to doing a DCL cruise too. We're going out to dinner tonight. It would be great if they could join us. We get along great with the parents and all of our kids get along well too. Ang

Just off the phone with DSAlex's high school! We are in the clear!
Graduation is May 22, 2009. Then we will head down to the port for sailaway the next AM! We will officially book when I get my bonus in April WOOHOO! Now to research Tortola..... |
