4 months to go until we are on the cruise!!!!

I'll get the FE list updated this weekend!! I promise! we've been busy looking into DVC...and I"m happy (and nervous) to say...We bought points at BLT!!

(now it's time to get a part time job!!)

MM- Boy, am I in trouble now! Kaylah already drives & has a truck. In fact, they are headed up to our cabin in Forest Lakes after school tonight. Kaylah's 1st long drive. I checked the weather & only occasional showers, no snow. Am a bit nervous, but she has 2 other drivers with her who have more experience, and if she starts to feel freaked, she's going to pull over and let one of them drive.

Thanks for all the "welcome home's"! I'm still on cloud 9!! Don't think I posted it here...but we used our Developer points to book a 1 bedroom at SSR for the week after the cruise (we added an extra day to use up most of the points) and booked a studio for 2 nights for the inlaws!

I went out today trying to find a part time job with NO luch. NO ONE is hiring. I need to stay close to home due to vehicle issues, so I dont' have too many choices. I'll keep looking!

Now for the cruise talk....I put together my cruise binder today. I printed out a packing list from excel that I found at some point and saved. We are going to start buying som little things each time we go to the store, that way it won't seem too bad!

Mom has started working on the fish extenders...did I say she is making two?? One is pirate themed

, adn the other one is a regular one. I have two ideas to make things for the FE exchange...I just need to remember to start working on them!

That's cool that you got your additional week all booked.

This cruise is our 'next' vacation, 4 months seems for long that I haven't thought about doing any planning. We have 2 more after this, our annual week to Myrtle beach over 4th July and then another cruise.
We have a wedding up in Toronto so still deciding if we are going to do that which is prior to the cruise but for some reason I just am not in planning mode

[SIZE="3"]Oh no- I cave easily. What's 10 more pounds, well, maybe 5. We'll make Kaylah do all the work, Ya, right.

Kaylah made it to the cabin alive. We live in sunny Phoenix, you have to understand. Our cabin is at 7,600 feet, in the mountains. A 3 hour drive & 2 feet of snow. She said the last 45 minutes out of Payson, the fog was so thick, she could hardly see. And it was dark. Well, good practice, but put my nerves to the test. I knew they made it fine to Payson (a little over 2 hours north east) because I checked her debit account & she paid for groceries at a Safeway, No paranoid mom here. We are leaving them use the electric but not the water, just too tricky to trust teens to rewinterize the place. Certainly don't need broken pipes.

Now don't laugh. I grew up in the midwest, but didn't move to Phoenix until I was 17. I have driven in snow maybe 3 times, only because where I work is about 10 miles northeast and at a higher elevation. Ok, only 3500 foot, but if it snows anywhere close, it is there. I slid down from work every time. Scares the heck out of me. Here's me

Congrats on the DVC! I'm jealous, we haven't bought yet, need the extra$$$$ to do so. Enjoy it!

I know what you mean about the second job- it's tough out there.
