Sorry Bev, after I wrote this I realized that would be completely inapprioate. They can meet on the ship and will be in the kids club all night. We had a problem getting him out. I told him this cruise though he has to spend 6 hours a day with us!

Christi and Eric - Welcome back. Glad to hear you had a great cruise.
I have changed the text a little on the first mickey head. Hopefully it's a bit clearer now.

Maybe they can PM each other. We just got off the Wonder a few days ago and Matt (DS-11) is looking forward to Ocean Quest and interested in meeting a friend to hang out with to play ping pong , pool, etc. He was not too crazy about the Lab. He said it was ok for a "kids club", but he would of prefered the quest. |

I wanted to introduce myself to the new comers (since DEC.)
Dh and I booked this cruise about a year ago. We got a terrific deal on a 3night with kids sail for free, so we canceled Aug. 22. We had such a terrific experience we rebooked on board. We saved $500 and got the $200 OBC Marina(8) loved the Lab and spent most of her time there. She was very excited becasue she was aked to be a dwarf during the Golden MIckeys. The service and staff were amazing. The shows were terrific. Erik and I spent most of the evening in Wavebands. We won Disney Quest and got a WINNER hat. Erik was asked to be Barry White during the 70's dance party and he won 2 day passes to the Rainforest room. We are planning on going a few times. It was so relaxing. The only thing that was a disappointment was the food. It was ok. But, the mango soup was yummy. |

Thanks for adding us to the list. Thanks for all your info about where to view the space shuttle. Unfortunately, the launch was canceled due to a faulty valve. We changed our hotel res. at the last minute and stayed at All star music for $49 a night. (We were going to stay at Carribean beach for $99 but could not pass up $114 for 2 nights) and went to Epcot for the day. Erik used that "extra" money to buy Bourbon on the drive home. Now, we just need to book hotel for Friday, Aug. 21. |

We fly out on the 6th August, I believe another launch is planned for that day so hope it gets delayed a day or 2 so we can see another, has to be one of the best experiences of my life, it can be any day from the 7th thru to going on cruise on the 22nd so a good chance unless they have major problems.
We are staying in studio at OKW for 16 nights before cruise, cost £91/night incl tax($128 at todays exchange) but includes free DDP for 3 of us worth $120/day. How much food are we going to eat with DDP for 16 nights then cruise for 7 nights We had another great offer last week for hotel a site here in UK were offering Hard Rock Hotel up at Universal for $69 incl tax/night but I stuck with the free DDP deal.

What are you planning to do in Florida for 16 days? Between friends, family, and theme parks, I will be ready for the cruise after just eight days in the area! |

We went upto Savannah, Georgia to meet friends, days out to Daytona etc, out for meals with Cast member friends, have annual passes for all parks so lots of days there from Uni down to Busch, also did a few days Geocaching(www.geocaching.com) We are supposed to be cutting down this year only going for the one trip of 25 nights but Karen has time off work end May so I keep looking at flights, we could fit another 8 or 9 night trip in

It's more like we set it ourselves
Erik and the kids did not know what happens when you board the ship. Matt loved it. We weren't even on the ship 5 minutes and he was saying it was the best cruise he had been on. We had talked about booking a cruise before we left. So, it wasn't a big surprise. I just did not think that we would be joining you. We decided to book before school starts (Sept.) that way the kids won't miss any school. Plus, they will be able to miss some days in Feb/March if we can find a great cruise deal. We have been looking at HAL or Celebrity 14 night Panama Canal or would love to find a great deal on a TA. We did look into the DCL EB-TA but we need to see about airfare. Maybe we will book it in AUg. |
