Mark&sue's Relaxig (boring) August 2007 trip - day 5 - The DIS Discussion Forums

Tuesday 21st August

Up early to have our breakfast of bagels and that lovely fluffy philedelphia that you can't get in the UK.

As we are going into MGM I get hot again and feel light headed and sick.

I really don't seem to have recovered from being ill last week and it really is getting in the way. My coughing is just awful and I do feel for every body around me.

I decide not to risk Rock 'n' rollin coaster, Mark gets the fastpasts, but feel that I have to go on something and tower of terror it is. I am really nervous in the queue in case I am actually sick on the ride. However it is fine and enjoy it even better than usual and if anything it has made me feel better!

I wait for Mark and Kirsty in the shop of Rock 'n' rollin coaster.

Next we go to Star Tours and am fine on this too. We don't really feel like doing much more at MGM other than watch the Indiana Jones stunt show as we have not seen this for a few years. We sit waiting for the show in the searing heat and my coughing just won't stop. We are just so hot now but the show is good and worth the wait.

We go back to the resort for our afternoon chill out. I get the ice bucket filled as usual. I love the whirlpool baths here and part of my ritual each night is pampering myself getting ready to go out with a nice drink sitting on the balcony.

I put my heels on for the first time in the holiday instead of my cleo crocs as we are only going to walk to the Turf Club. However when we get there is is all booked up. We decide on finding somewhere at Downtown Disney and go back to the room to change back into my crocs and start walking.

We go to the Portobello Yacht Club. We order drinks at the bar while we wait which is nice. I didn't think there was that much choice here and was quite pricey.

We wander back to the resort via Raglan Road.

Tomorrow Epcot and packing for the cruise yay
