Post Your- Disney Waterpark photos!
 [/IMG]I've never been to Disney's water parks. I've seen a lot of cool photos on DisBoards but not any waterpark photos? Could we start a thread? I'd love to see what I'm missing ?

 [/IMG]another photo... Blizzard Beach (not my photo, but very nice work!) I'd rather see real people photos, than the pro's shots on the offical Disney brochures.

Keep them comingthose are really gooddid most of you took those with a waterproof camera ? I was thinking about using a waterproof disposable camera anyone use those ? Are they any good? thanks ! |

I would love to see more pics too! Can't wait until we go. On the subject of waterproof cameras, I bought 2 (27 exp each). We will be at the waterparks 3 days - do you think 2 is enough? Thanks.

If DW ever sees this, I'll be in trouble, but this set of pictures cracks me up, and since it's on-topic, I had to share...
Here we arrive at Typhoon Lagoon nice and early, we have our pick of chairs.  Next DW heads out into the surprisingly calm wave pool...  Suddenly something catches her attention...  (note, DD catches sight of the rising wave, and starts to exit left.) Boy, whatever has her attention must be fascinating...the wave's getting closer and she's oblivious to it. You probably know where this is going.  Still not paying attention..DD has picked up pace, but still hasn't told Mom about the pending wave.  The wave hits...  (I love this photo. I get hit in the arm everytime I show it to people) What a loving family. DD watched and didn't warn, I just stood by our chairs and captured it all on camera.

Just to be fair....here's a photo of me in the lazy river.
 Serious water displacement at the bottom of Humunga Cowabunga. I'm on the right and the little splash in the middle slide is DD.  The theming of Typhoon Lagoon is awesome

Here's some from Blizzard Beach
The Blizzard Beach wave pool isn't as large and doesn't have the large cycling wave, but they let you take tubes into the wave pool there.  Ski lift to Summit Plummit  I don't know who this person is, but they provide a head's up for summit plummit.  Notice as he stands up, he needs to extracate the swimsuit....  Finally here's the toboggan slide.  Most of these were taken from dry land. The ones in the lazy river, I was very careful with my digital. I bought one of the larger waterproof containers and transformed into a case for my little digital. It's a canon elph (Sd600), so it's pretty small. For our upcoming trip I got a waterproof case for it, so I should have some better photos.

Thanks for the nice words. She saw it and I've been hit 3 times already.
Kerri...It is a Mickey swimsuit. She got it on clearance from DisneyShopping . com just before we left for our trip. That was our Sept. 2006 trip. She liked it very much and now has 2 more styles from there.

Great photos, its nice to see some 'real ones'. The ones of your wife are brilliant, I bet she'll pay a bit more attention to when the wave is coming next time! My boys are so looking forward to going, I just hope they don't expect me to go on Summit Plummit. DH has bought a waterproof housing for his digital camera. We have just been to Devon on our holidays and he tried it out in the sea but it was a bit murky, so looking forward to trying it out at Disney.
