Is it possible to put a user on ignore?
I know that on other boards I frequent, it is suggested to put posters you don't agree with/drive you batty on ignore so that you don't get snippy and get yourself banned. Is there a way to do that here on the DIS?

Yes there is. Click on the username and select View Public Profile from the drop down list. In the upper left corner of the line under their username in the profile is an option for User Lists. Select that and from the drop down box select Add to Ignore List.
You will still be able to see their posts if someone quotes them.

I can handle a bit of quoting, but would prefer to not "go off" on a particular poster and get myself banned. Lol!
