Mark&sue's Trip - Day 6 - 17th October
The Cast
Me - Susan (42) DH - Mark (38) DD - Kirsty (stitchgonecrazy) (12, but 13 on 15th Oct) My Best Friend - Lisa (36) Lisa's DH - Maurice (39) Lisa's DS - Jack (9) (9 but 10 on 15th Oct) Lisa's DD - Megan (7) Mark's Best Friend - Terry (38) Terry's DW - Sara (38) Today we went to MGM. First ride was Rock 'N' Roller Coaster. Megan was too small for this one and Sara offered to wait outside with her while the rest of us rode. Terry was the only one not to have riden this before (Lisa had been on the one in Paris) and was extremely nervous. However once over eveyone enjoyed it. Next was Tower of Terror. Both Terry and Sara gave this one a miss. We managed to take a photo of the picture at the exit. We are the back row. ![]() We got fasspass for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. This always makes me cry it is so sweet. I still love it. Next was muppets which I could probably miss out next year for a change. It was beginning to get very hot and for the tram ride I was falling asleep. I noticed Lisa with the camcorder and hoped she didn't film me snoring! When we came in 2001 myself, Mark and his brother had managed to be picked at the volunteer actors in the part where you clean the deck and run when the bombs fall in the sea. I wonder what the chances are of ever being picked again? When we got off we posed for the Narnia photo (note my wonderful Crocs, which so many other people seemed to be wearing) ![]() By now were were getting hungry but only wanted a snack as we were off to the Rainforest Cafe tonight. Everyone else had burgers from Rosie's All American Cafe. I didn't fancey a burger so ran over to Starring Rolls Cafe for a veggie wrap, by the time I got back with my wrap they were still queuing. We left the park after this and went to the premium outlet stores. We split up and arranged to meet an hour later. An hour was not long enough!!! On the way back to the Villas Sara was wishing that she had bought the pair of shoes she had tried on and was sure that she must go back to get them before she went home. The night starts to become a bit of blur from now on. I remember getting back to Saratoga Springs and having a lovely whirlpool bath and pouring some drinks, perhaps too many!! I vaguely remember walking to Downtown Disney, but I know that me and Lisa were not wearing these t-shirts when we left the villa!! ![]() It must have seemed a good idea at the time that we buy these t-shirts on special offer in the front of the restaurant and change in the restrooms. We must have had a few more cocktails ![]() Time to pose with Kirsty ![]() and with us all before having something to eat ![]() ![]() I am sure the food was nice but cannot remember anything else!
