How long for dinner at Lombard before the Cinematic Spectacular
We have just booked our Cinematic Spectacular dinner package at Lombard. Going on Dec 11 and the show will be at 7pm. I have made a dinner reservation at 5.15pm. Is this too early? What time will we be allowed into the viewing area to enjoy our dessert?

last time we were down we watched the show from the pier along side of Lombard. One of the best places to watch the show!
How fast do you eat. if you sit down at 5:15, order by 5:30, food comes out by 5:45, and you are done at 6:30 you may have to "milk" the time a bit before 7pm. Order an appetizer, eat slow, order a desert, and then once 6:50 rolls around go outside, watch the show come back in and pay. I did this at Disney Contemporary resort once. We got an early reservation at say 5:30 and the fire works were at 9 something. I ordered an app, a bottle of wine, which we drank very slowly, slowly ate our meal, then I ordered a cheese plate with crackers for desert, sipped on coffee. Doing this enabled us to sit there until the fireworks were ready to go off - walked outside enjoyed the show, came back in, gulped down the rest of my coffee - paid my bill then left ![]() It was a pricy bill - but a good memory |

We can be pretty fast. It's just that my experience at Disney is that we may not get seated immediately and am not sure how's the situation at US. But you are right, we can just take our time with apps and mains. I understand the dessert is a buffet at the viewing area. So we can also get out there and start eating before the show starts

Hmmm, I made a reservation for the Lombard's dinner cinematic spectacular for 5:30pm. The park closes at 7pm though the UO Res Agent said the show actually begins at 7pm. He stated that if we finish dinner early, we may return for the dessert/viewing area just before 7pm. I guess that means you don't have to stick around or draw out your meal.
