Hello!!!

My family & I are already planning our 2013 Disney vacation. I have searched, but I didn't see another November 2013 thread so I figured I would see if anyone else has begun to plan.

Our check-in date is October 31st, but our first park day will be November 1st and the majority of our vacation will obviously be in November.

So......who's on board?

signed up for "tour guide mike" to assist in park touring ???

Hey, there!!! I'm hoping for free dining as well, but we probably won't be offered it until next July. That seems to be when it is released.

I have never used Tour Guide Mike, but from what I've gathered on the DIS lately, he seems to be slipping. I have a subscription to Touring Plans. I love them!!! And there is a free service: easywdw.com. For Touring Plans, there are discounts available through Allearsnet and if you buy the Unofficial Guide. Hope this helps!!!

Yay!!!! Looks like your family & mine will be there the same time!!! Are you from Jersey, too? We were going to go with the AoA, but when I ran the prices, it was $1,500 more than POR. And, besides, POR really is home for us! We stayed there in 2009 because we needed the space for 5 plus a baby and fell in love with it.

Not Jersey but close. PA. Have a family of six. Four younger children do two rooms is hard. We went with suite. Agree priced is more but I'm kind of limited.

We are doing the dream starting on the 24th departing on the 27th and driving straight to okw grand villa for 4 days.

Totally understand. We were seriously considering the suite at AoA (we wanted in on the new resort!), but it was about $1500 more plus it's a value resort and, if free dining were offered, it would be the QS not the regular one. So, POR it is!!!

You have more than one room in POR? Curious how it's cheaper if that's the case. I could never figure it out.

Just me and Hubs - first Food and Wine for Hubs but 4th for me. Think we might do a Halloween party as well.. Would LOVE it if free dining would be offered.. We like the Pop but might look into renting OKW/BWV (depending on the dining offer)

Nope...only one room, but there is enough room for all five of us (and six of us when the little guy was a baby and we took my MIL). Hubby & I sleep on one bed, my daughter sleeps with the little guy and my middle child sleeps on the Murphy bed (used to be a trundle). But, given that my daughter will be 13 next year, we may get an $80 air mattress to one boy can sleep on that, one can have the Murphy bed and my daughter will have a bed all to herself (lucky dog!).

Ok thanks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I have 4 kids aged 13 down to 6. So I definitely can't stay in one room there.

I know there is one ( maybe 2) other threads for Nov 2013 on this board so if you want to search them out you may find more people going.

I will be there from Nov 10-Nov 18 on our honeymoon. We booked the BC and I can no wait. I am already planning on what restaurants we will eat out and things besides the parks we want to do. LOL i am a tad bit excited.

I guess the search function just doesn't work very well for me! I did do a search, but didn't find anything except trip reports, but I'll have another look.

Our family is already planning for food as well!!! Our daughter wants to eat at Coral Reef and I said "no problem" plus we really, finally, want to try Le Cellier.
