For us.......we never miss Dr Doom, The Hulk, Spiderman, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Ripsaw Falls, Duelling Dragons and like spending time on Me Ship the Olive.
We love spending (too much) money on the water guns at Bilge Barge ride........we laugh like hyenas doing this. They also have them at Ripsaw Falls. For food we love Confisco Grille and Thunder Falls Terrace. IOA has amazing themeing and always has a lovely atmosphere. We spend a lot of time in both parks as there is so much detail that you an easily miss if you rush through. Port of Entry is lovely, some good photo ops. There`s loads of characters in and around the parks too which is really nice. Hope you have a great trip

Yes the water guns, soooo much fun!!
Also for us, Spiderman, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Jurassic Park fun center and Pteranodon flyers with the play area (the last two if you have a little one with you) are all not to be missed. |

It's been 5 years since I was there but we are planning to go back in Feb.
I've got boys so these are their heroes! Lots of great access to characters! We loved the Jurassic Park ride. And the log flume - the name is escaping me right now! As a teacher I loved everything in SeussLand. Just too much fun! Have great memories from our last visit and can't wait to make new ones! |

I agree, there is not a bad 'land' in this park. I love Disney, but IOA is by far by favorite theme park!
We love strolling from land to land because the detail is so fantastic! Spiderman is one of the best rides out there - so much fun! We also like Jurassic Park and Dueling Dragons ( which is now park of WWOHP ). We love to sit and people watch in the Port of Entry - shopping too. So much fun, you'll have a blast!

Spider-man is an amazing ride where you sit in 6-axis motion simulators (cars that turn and move in 3D) which move along a track through the ride, and 3D images are projected around you (you wear 3D polarized goggles). My favourite ride in IOA, slightly ahead of the newer HPFJ. Actually, Spider-man is my favourite ride anywhere. Also a big fan of Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges - but you know, you will get wet.
I also have a soft spot for taking an afternoon break at the Watering Hole, a take-out in Jurassic Park near WWoHP. Just something about the atmosphere, or ambiance, or some other intangibles. I'd consider lunch at Mythos, too. Not typical theme park food.
