Maybe FQ is getting priority on the replacement fridges because we are not getting Magic Bands.

Here is the number from the letter regarding refrigerators: (407) 827-7760. Several posts back I made a comment about calling and selecting both options on 2 different calls. I posted that the CM told me the refrigerators were ALL replaced at POFQ and I should have a working refrigerator per the CM on the phone. She said if I did not then call the front desk and one will be put in my room because the refrigerators are there but may not have been replaced yet. Andre quoted me and responded (you can see several posts back). If you press the option that your resort is not listed on the recording then it has a recording that tells you that you will have a refrigerator. But, I called back and chose the other option and got a live CM who gave me the previous information regarding POFQ. I am arriving in 4 days and she said that a refrigerator will be no problem. I also asked about the $15/day credit and she said if a refrigerator is not available then the resort manager could issue the credit, but the likelihood of not refrigerator was slim-because the seriousness at POFQ was not as bad because there were less rooms to replace since there are much fewer rooms at POFQ than at Riverside.

I really so hope you're in luck. Certainly as of mid/late August that was not the case (as the visitor posts here have shown) - but things can sometimes change quickly. I'll check in again with my contacts over there and see what the latest news is looking like early next week.

We're at the FQ right now. When we checked in on 8/22 there was a disconnected frig in our room so I called and requested one and it was delivered to us within 10 minutes. Looks brand new so maybe the shipment has arrived : )

Well, we were waiting it out to see how well my dad would be or if he'd end up in a rehab facility but he took a turn for the worst last weekend and passed away last Sunday. Lots of mixed emotions. Of course, he was my father and I loved him but he was a very controlling man and in a way, it feels like my mom, my dad and I are all in a better place now. My mom and I are still going on the trip and we actually extended it back to 6 days which is what I wanted in the first place. We're looking forward to it.

Of course, we had to move resorts so we're staying at the CBR now. It's the third time I've tried staying at FQ and had to move when I changed plans lol.

I'm sorry for your loss but I understand that a sense of relief can happen when a family member dies. That is how I felt at my mother's death.

Enjoy your WDW visit. One of these times you'll get to stay at POFQ.

I second this, when my FIL passed away he was so sick for so long, and just kept getting worse and worse. He was finally out of pain, no longer suffering.

I'm so sorry for your loss. {hugs}

Hi! Still going through all these but you can have water delivered via garden grocer. No need to ship!

As far as I know, there's a minimum order, something like $40.00 plus delivery fee... They just won't deliver water...
