So excited you guys are coming!
Friday will be our day to explore, so the Children's museum is definitely on the list. Still haven't decided which hotel I am going to cancel though.

The Children's Museum is a favorite of my family's. We try and go at least 4-5 times a year.

I'd stay at the JW Corey. Take the kids on a canal walk. There is so much in downtown in walking distance, either hotel will work though.

Also on the 6th, the Gin Blossoms are playing on Georgia Street downtown. Its a free concert in celebration of the Kickoff to the Colts season.

I have to be another to chime in on the JW. HGI is on the other side of downtown. Not that it is a bad neighborhood but it seems if there is trouble at a club it is usually one over on that side of downtown. JW also has indoor walkways all the way to Circle Center Mall and is more central to the Zoo and Canal. Rent a surrey bike on the canal and tour the area with it. We have done it multiple times and love it. http://www.wheelfunrentals.com/Locations/Indianapolis-4

If you truly want to sample a taste of Indiana, go to Edwards Drive-In and get a tenderloin sandwich. Not a five star establishment but the root beer and tenderloin are to die for. http://www.edwardsdrivein.com/cpsite...=120028.113129

Downtown your dining options will be limitless. One of the top choices is St Elmo's Steakhouse.

I am adding to the votes of the JW!! Definitely a better location and BY FAR the most beautiful structure in Indianapolis! See you guys soon!

If you still need a room for this year's Indy Disney Meet our preferred hotel provider The Cambria Suites still has rooms available. However, these rooms are only available with a single king bed. The rate is $109 per night and includes free breakfast. Ask for room block Give Kids the World.
We hope to see you on Saturday, September 7th.

*****ANNOUNCEMENT*****
Because of the podcast taping and just because the meet is so much fun in general we are extending it by one hour. The meet will be from 1 until 7PM.

Do you need a quick Disney fix? Come to our 6th annual Indianapolis Disney Meet and enjoy a refreshing dole whip. We were the first meet to ever feature the refreshing sweet treat. Supplies are limited. You'll feel like you've been transported to Adventureland.

No need to register. The meet is free to attend. Just bring a food item to share. See you there!

Aaron, I don't see anything listed when I click on this link from Facebook. It doesn't work for me at all from here.

I want to say that we are probably going to be there.

I wanted to mention a couple other non-Disney activities for out-of-towners. Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a little west of downtown and has a neat museum inside the track. Adults are $5, 6-15 $3, under 6 are free
http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.../35204-Museum/

At Eagle Creek Park (Northwest side) they have an adventure course called Go Ape. It is a little pricey and a real challenge but it is also a lot of fun.
