Btw, we got it for $69pp for 150 points. All points for '12, '13, and '14. I seen some for a lot lesser point so hoping for the best!

Us too We offered $79 pp for VWL all 2013 points going fwd. It felt like a pretty strong offer, but after seeing what they have been ROFR'ing lately - I am definitely not confidant.

All I can say for sure is that we offered what we were comfortable paying and what we thought was fair. If Disney takes it, I know there's nothing else I could have done and I won't be mad at myself for low balling it. I will JUST be mad at Disney

We actually went in at what the seller was asking, so there wasn't much more we could do. When SSR is being sold direct at $125pp, I thought $69 sounded darn good! Lol.

I'm just such an impatient person and hate not having any control. It's only day 2 and literally I check my email all day long looking for that "you passed" message. Ugh!!

A warranty deed appeared yesterday (May 7th) on the Indian River website. It was for a 150 point Vero Beach deed with a 0.1567% interest in Unit 15C, which has a December UY. The Sale Consideration amount is shown as $5,700, which equates to $38 a point.

Does this sound like the Vero Beach deed that you tried to buy?

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments about this thread. Sometimes, I think there are only a handful of people who read this thread, so I'm amazed when I see the thread has received over 60,000 views since it started in August 2010.

This thread is important because it provides the data to support or refute many of the inferences that we make here on the boards. I believe that everybody who comes to the Purchasing DVC boards should take the time to read this thread. So, again, thanks!

I'm not good explaining things well, so I leave that to those who can, but I can say the work you do here is tremendously appreciated!

Thank you!

I appreciate it too! Even if I rarely ever comment, I certainly read the monthly updates. SO thank you for doing this!

LOL at the "quiet fan base" comment.

Another big thanks from me too WDLR! I started reading the thread right before/after I put in my first resale offer. The information you give here is so helpful!

Thanks for all the hard work!

I'm right there with you! We went in at full price too, so at least I won't be kicking myself if we don't get it. And I have been a crazy person, checking the Dis every 20 minutes as if someone here will be able to give me peace of mind.

I too have received some wise words to calm down, and that is what I will TRY to do.

I'm leaving tomorrow for an Alaskan cruise, so at least I will have some time away with quite a bit of distractions. Good luck waiting the month. I know it's brutal, especially with so much being ROFR'd right now.

For both of us and everyone else waiting!
