Marking my spot in hopes for a discount. Trying to decide if I should go for my 40th/Halloween and kicking myself for not booking the bounceback when we were there in January. It was an annoying trip and I wasn't feeling the Disney Magic when we checked out.

Nope we will just call in a few weeks and speak to a cast member and drop one person off. This way it's just a change not a new ressie

PIN codes come from Disney Destinations, but not all Disney Destinations emails are PIN codes. Some are newsletters and some are just advertisements. The advertisements will have a 3-digit booking code, but a true PIN has a 15-digit booking code. There are currently no PINs that include October. The only active PIN is a room offer for 4/28-8/14/13. Good luck!

I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. I've always traveled in February, and never had this issue before.

I have held off making my reservation as long as possible, hoping Disney would roll out some discounts.

I'll be making my reservation either today or tomorrow, as my 180 days + 10 will be on Thursday, and I don't want to miss out on that.

If I book today and place a deposit, but do not pay in full, are the park ticket prices subject to change?

I know park ticket prices will be going up in June, so what happens if our packages are not paid off before June?

Also, what happens if Disney finally comes out with an offer in July or August, will we now be subject to the park ticket price increase?

We booked our Gartner Symposium stay today through Gartner.

YC, BC, BWI & GF were already sold out through the conference (NOT the resorts themselves but the allotted # of Gartner-priced rooms), so we booked Polynesian. She had a bit of trouble getting our first night, but finally got it.

I'm hoping for a code, though, that will allow us to stay closer to the conference.

Yes, if you call and modify your existing reservation by adding a discount code, you will have to pay the difference in the ticket price increase. They started this new policy last fall.

My daughter made our dining reservations today! There are 8 of us headed to Disney in October. Planning to celebrate a 30th Wedding Anniversary, Retirement, Hubby's 60th Birthday(a surprise at 50's Prime Time) and the Grandson's 7th Birthday with dinner at 1900 Park Fare! Daughter is surprising the grandkids with the trip! Hope everyone has a great time there!

This was posted online : From the email - For stays most nights 10/1/13-10/10/13 and 10/14/13-10/31/13. From the email - Experience the
Magic in October
when you purchase a 6-night/7-day Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package that includes accommodations and Theme
Park tickets!
For example, stay at Select
Disney Value Resorts
$ 712 * per adult
based on adult double occupancy in a standard room.

Do you have a link to the thread? This reads more like 3 digit advertisement, not a 15 digit PIN discount.

So if our trip isn't paid off by June, our package price will go up?? Even though I've already made my reservation??

If you book now, you are locked in at the current ticket price. If the ticket price increases and you modify your reservation after that effective date (ie. add a discount, add park hopper, etc), you will have to pay the increase on your park tickets.
