Had an eventful couple of days. Yesterday I took DS into Minneapolis for his semiannual audiology appointment. We had blizzard like conditions overnight but it wasn't bad in the morning. We picked up DW and were on our way home. She had the van and I had to old Explorer. Just north of town there was an open stretch of road that was iced over. I hit a patch and lost control. I would up in the ditch and rolled the Explorer. I was wearing my seat belt and was fine. I went to the ER anyways to get checked out. I'm doing good except for a sore neck and back. The Explorer is totaled. Unfortionatly we only had the bare minimum coverage so all we'll get out of it is what the junk yard will buy it for. Still can't complain, I walked away in one piece.

Dude... lucky to be alive.

Could have been a lot worse. I was doing about 30 when it happened. A gust of wind pushed me onto a bare ice patch and I couldn't recover.

Haven't had a chance to read through the boards over the past 2 days. I'll get caught up in a bit. My being under the weather transformed into a day off work(Monday), an attempt to go to work with me coming home before noon b\c my daughter was sick (Tuesday), to me working from home and then fetching my daughter from school after she had a fever at lunch (today). Now no school tomorrow for her b\c she has to be fever free for 24 hours. At least DW is off tomorrow so I can escape this black plague that is in my house!

Wow. Glad you survived that. I guess your 'bat turn- roll the truck- and walk away from it" post trumps my 'I have the sniffles' post. The insurance part sucks, but say your prayers that you got out of there relatively unscathed.

I hate those whole house bugs. Seems like as soon as one of you gets done the next one starts. And with kids you miss 2 days work. Hope everyone gets better soon.

I know the weather gets extreme here in Texas, but when the wind pushes you into black ice and flips you in March it may be time to look into moving south of the arctic circle Glad you came out alright.

Where are you guys watching the Dream pull into port? Is there a feed or something that I can catch a Disney Buzz off of?

Finally got out and ran last night, 2 miles in just under 20 minutes. Not great, but its my first run in a few weeks so I will take what I can get.

I have a phone in meeting at 3 this afternoon, and I'm thinking of leaving early and calling in from home. I dont fancy an added 30-45 minutes added to my 50 minute drive.

Don't worry Matt it was early in the morning.


Thay being said the camera does move. It is located at Fishlips and the do pan and zoom it when the ships are leaving. Not sure if they do it when the ships arrive or not.
