If you love shopping and just wandering the city streets, walk along 5th avenue and visit union square park, high line, bryant park, cental park and east village.

Are you looking for gay things to do in the city? i.e. parties, clubs, bars?

Those would be cool. I'm sure I don't measure up to NYC gay standards but it would be fun to go to a club.

Don't worry too much about all the tourist stuff. I say just set aside an evening to explore. Chelsea or Hell's Kitchen and you will definitely get an eye in to the gay experience.

Eathan, noticed you live in NYC: , I've heard the Chelsea Market is cool and an okay place to grab an informal bite. Is it? And how late is it open?

I like Eataly, but haven't been to Chelsa Mkt yet...

NYC is my favorite city! If you love musicals, definitely try to see at least one Broadway show. I love shopping in SoHo, and Times Square. Just walking around and taking in the sights is exciting!

Have a great time!
