Selling a contract with points transferred out?
If xxx 2012 points were transferred from contract A to contract B and only the 2013 UY points remain in contract A, can contract A be listed for sale immediately? The transferred points are now part of contract B and are currently part of a reservation later this year. If I wanted to sell contract A, I would not have to delay the closing until that reservation using contract B has been used, would I?

Point transfers are final transactions and can not be reversed. The transferred points belong to contract B and contract A can be sold at anytime. Of course this assumes that Contract A and B are under different memberships as that would be the only way you could transfer points between them.

Another question on same topic. If you borrow points into a use year to make a reservation. And then cancel reservation can the borrowed points be transferred to another contract.

Unfortunately you can't. Banking and borrowing are final transactions. It seems like I have seen that they could be used for an RCI exchange, but I may be mistaken. We have never done that. You could rent those points for a reservation in that UY.

Specific to my example, the 2013 dues are paid on contract A (and B, for that matter). I like to lump sum it on my Disney Visa Rewards card and get the points!

Are the contracts under the same membership or different memberships? Just want to be sure you are talking about an actual transfer and not a pooling of points that were used together to book a reservation.
Transfers only occur from one membership to another. As long as that is the case, then you should be all set.

Thanks, Sandi. They are two different UY at the same DVC with two different membership numbers. Our points summary shows points transferred out.

No, but with the Disney Premier Visa, which has a $49 annual fee, you get 2% back on Disney purchases, and our DVC dues qualify. The dues obviously will not cover the annual fee, but we use our Disney Premier Visa for just about everything we buy, so we more than cover the cost of the annual fee and have points leftover to use when we visit WDW.
