Yes, this can be done but only at the 7 month window. Or you could do a split stay between your resorts.

To book at 11 months you could use banking and borrowing and alternate years between BCV and BWV. You could even use 3 years at BWV to get a grand villa. To achieve this you would have to bank all of 2013 points, use all 2014 points and borrow 2015 points.

To combine points at 7 months, to make things easier, you must have your contracts titled exactly the same and have the same UY to have under 1 membership. Different UYs will have different membership numbers and will require a transfer.

There are times of the year that if you want a villa, any villa, at BCV or BWV, you need to book that at 11 months out, as soon as your booking window opens. There are only seven BWV Grand Villas, so those need to be booked at 11 months out exactly. BWView villas also are hot commodities.

Just because you have the points doesn't mean that what you want will be available when you are ready to book it.

So if you try to combine points at seven months out, you might be too late to get what you want.

BCV is closer to Epcot, but BWV is closer to DHS. Currently DVC members can add the dining plan, but not the premium plan, just the three - QS, standard and deluxe. DVC resorts still get DME.

You get to love no one coming into your villa every day. Especially when you have little ones that you want to put down for a nap and, darn, the housekeepers are in your room.

It's so easy to make the bed every morning, hang up the towels (or throw them into the washer if you want fresh ones - but only in one bedroom villas or larger - it's not as convenient in a studio).

Housekeeping
Trash & Towel Service
For stays of seven or less nights, Trash & Towel Service is provided on day four, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Trash & Towel service, Housekeeping will:

•Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
•Provide fresh bathroom linens.
•Replace shampoo, facial soap and bath soap.
•Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
•Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
•Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges and laundry detergent as needed in one-, two- and three-bedroom Vacation Homes.

Full Cleaning Service
For stays of eight or more nights, Full Cleaning Service is provided on day four and Trash & Towel Service is provided on day eight. After that, the cycle begins again on day 12, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Full Cleaning service, Housekeeping will provide everything included with the Trash & Towel Service, plus:

•Change the bed linens.
•Vacuum and dust the Vacation Home.
•Clean the bathroom(s).
•Clean the kitchen/kitchenette and wash the dishes.

Pay As You Play
With Pay As You Play service, you'll be provided with the following amenities free of charge at the start of your stay. After that, you may purchase more for the following fees:

•Toiletries Package, $5.00 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
•Coffee Package, $3.00 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
•Towel Package, $6.00 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
•Laundry Detergent (only in One-, Two-, and Three-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1.00 - 1 box

Additional Full Cleaning Rates:


•Studio/Inn Room - $30.00 per day requested
•One-Bedroom - $45.00 per day requested
•Two-Bedroom - $60.00 per day requested
•Three-Bedroom - $75.00 per day requested

We used to stay at YC so when we bought into DVC we were leaning towards BCV. However, we enjoyed having a lake view at YC and you cannot see the lake from BCV since it is behind the BC resort. We wanted the view more than we wanted access to SAB so we chose BWV for the Boardwalk View rooms. It also has the benefit that when we want a longer stay or are short on points we can book a Standard View room.

Contracts at BCV and BWV expire on Jan 31, 2042 which was fine with us due to our age. SSR, AKV and BLT have later expiration dates if that matters to you.

Which is closer to the walking path to Epcot?

Measured from the lobby areas of each resort, BCV is maybe 5 minutes closer? BWV is a larger resort and some rooms are a long walk from the lobby so if your room was at the extreme end of BWV, that could add another 5-10 minutes to your walk to Epcot depending on how fast you walk and whether you walk inside the building or head down the stairs and take a more direct route.


Before we purchased, I read hundreds of threads in the DVC forums here on the DIS. There is a lot you should learn and understand before moving ahead with your purchase.
