Short Time to Plan - Need Advice from you - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hello all! I am new to Disney and I have a short time (about a month) to make plans. Many people have told me that I won't have enough time to plan but I am trying to stay positive. Some of my friends have directed me here and I am asking for your advice. HELP! I have two boys so I am not worried about dinner reservations. Is a photo pass necessary, etc? Any and all help is appreciated. I would like to stay on-site.

You need to start by setting a budget. Then how long you will be staying and what exactly you want to accomplish. How old are the kiddos? How many in your party? Will you have your own transportation?

We stay at POFQ because it is a small resort with a nice pool slide and queen bed, and most of the time only the one bus stop. With little ones I would not bother with a park hopper because chances are the kids will dictate the day. And with little ones on Disney transportation the less time on it the better. A Photopass is not needed especially if you have your own camera. In fact most of the photopass photographers will be happy to take pictures with your camera. You can always get the card and then decide if you want to order it later.

I'd call a Disney Travel Specialist like Dreams Unlimited Travel. They can take care of everything for you at no additional cost.
