? for those who've made recent 180+10 ADRs

It's pretty hard to believe that a restaruant that holds 500 people at a time can be totally booked up every day that only folks with Dis resorts could be booking...something has to be snarled up. Wouldn't be the first (or sadly the last) time this has happened!!

Again, I'm thinking that it has something to do with the fact that there are no limits on the reservations (other than number of days out)...if you are lucky enough to get in right away, it looks to me like you could book every time slot for 10 days following your 180 day mark if you wanted to, and only cancel them at your convenience...while everyone else scrambles to find a timeslot, any timeslot.

The old system would not let anyone on the dining plans book more than reservation for any one time slot. Still ways around that, but a little more restrictive.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but that is the way it looks to me.

I'm cracking up because when I called at 180 days out, my son was sitting with me and I had the phone on speaker and we started singing the "hold music" the first couple of times and then after a while my son said, "this is getting annoying!" And EVERY time the railroad part came on, my son and I would look at each with such excitement.....that was short lived!!!
Finally after 30 minutes, I was able to speak with someone and asked for BOG right away and NOTHING for the whole time we're there. So frustrating! I got everything else we wanted, but still holding out hope that BOG will open up soon.

End of August ADRs opened up today at BOG. Was just able to book 8/27 for dinner. Good luck everyone!

It's been a week since my 180 day mark, just got off the phone and STILL nothing at all. I'm thinking its definitely not worth the aggravation at this point and I'm just going to have to go for lunch.

At 12:30 this afternoon, I was finally able to get a reservation for BOG for August 24th at 9:20 - a little late, but beggars can't be choosers!

So what happens if you make the reservation for 2 and you have 2 and a child, that is all BOG had for August 25th at a decent time.
I'll keep trying to change it and even call, just wondering if anyone had this experience with any of the restaurants?

If you are interested, I have a 8/24 7:30PM reservation for 4 that I am canceling. Let me know if you want to try to coordinate so you can book it right after I cancel.

So I know you cannot transfer a reservation into someone elses name, but why can't you take the confirmation # and go to the restaurant with that. Do they ask for ID? I know you hold it on a cc, but don't you have to present a payment form at the restaurant? I don't think they use the card you put in the system since even the CM's on the phone can only see the last 4 digits of the cc.

The problem with that would be, if the people don't show up for the reservation then the original reservation holder is charged the no show fee.

I started making my ADR's on the 180th day and was told the same thing--that certain places hadn't loaded in the system--and to keep trying. The places I had problems with were the Character locations like Ohana and Chef Mickey's. CM told me to keep trying until they opened up. It took me about a month of consistent trying several times a day before they had loaded and I got what I wanted. When you are trying online and keep getting the "no availability" notice--CALL! That is when I found out about the reservations not being loaded.

Just don't give up--keep trying! I had zero trouble getting BOG when I made my ressies--that was about 160 days ago, though!

I had the same issue and called Disney dining, the reservation consultant told me that it was all booked up but as it was 7am 180 days out I didn't believe her because she couldn't explain to me how. So I kept looking for be our guest and all of a sudden a reservation popped up for 20.30 on the day I wanted (25 aug). If they tell u it
Is booked up dont instantly believe them, keep trying! It makes sense to me that they arnt loaded into the system yet and I think they are loading them gradually which is making them more in demand and harder for us to get

I heard somewhere that they were going to trial fast pass plus for dining reservations at BOG maybe that is why

Good heavens you all are making me so nervous to get ressies now! My 180 days is 3/11... I'm very glad that most of you were able to get them in the end! Someone send some pixie dust my way in a week please!
