Well, they are non returnable. These were considered clearance items because they ended in a specific number. Even though the clearance price is very similar to what other similar items had been on sale for. I asked if anyone else had this issue because this is the second order with the same issue. (Different products) I was able to return the first order because it was just on sale and not at a clearance price. No more PB linens! The quality just isn't there.

In this case, I would assume they clearanced them because they knew the towels were junk. Since they are non-returnable, I would write a letter to Pottery Barn management letting them know that I would no longer be purchasing their products because I didn't feel confident that the products wouldn't be junk.

I got towels from Target that were too bright. I washed them several times hoping they'd fade. No such luck. They still are in perfect shape & color.

Lol, I bought expensive towels from bed bath and beyond that just fell apart after 3-4 washings. My target towels are 3 years old and going strong. I even use one in each of my dogs crates and one to help dry the kitchen floor and after I wash them I can't tell which ones they are!

I'd bring them back into the store anyway and at least try. I would have assumed they were on clearance because the color was being discontinued, not because they were defective. An in-person visit to the store might yield a better result.
