What are the odds of NO November discount?
We are planning on going in mid November (14-23) and while we could pay full price, we really don't want too.
I know there are several rumors about FD going away, but what do you guys think the chances are of no discount offered in November. (We'd be game for anything; room only, SPD, free dining etc) |

Historically, Disney does offer the FD during parts of November. They will always blackout on Thanksgiving week, though. If they are going to offer it, they will normally release it either July or August.

I'd say odds are in your favor for some type of discount. November is still a low month, at the tail end of hurricane season.
I also have heard word on the street that FD is not going to be offered to the general public going forward. We shall see!

We are booked for Nov 17-23 and are hping for FD but not basing my trip on it. If it is available that will be a great bday present to me, since my bday is Nov 17th. But if it's not then thats fine to. I figure we are going to have a great time with or without it so no point in stressing about it.

unsure
I am also planning it as if we are not getting a discount with the hopes that we will get one and then can just add that to our savings but we wouldn't plan our trip unless we could afford it without the discount.
I have heard a lot of different rumors but I would be happy with any discount, but of course the free dining (even if it's only Play and Stay or QSDP) I would be happy. |

Zero. There will be some kind of November offer. Maybe not your dates but you have good dates.

There will be an exclusion to November discounts for Jersey week. Probably at least the 11th. I know some travel agencies have blocks of rooms reserved at a discounted rate for those date though.

I'm going November 10-16. It's been hard to nail down the date because we were thinking of going the first week of November but found out that was Jersey week and it sometimes is blacked out for any kind of discount.I did find out through another thread that last year they offered free dining during veterans day. So I decided to leave on the Sunday before with the hopes that most of the Jersey week/marathon crowds will be leaving on the Sunday or Monday. A room discount would be good too

Seems to me there are almost always discounts to be had unless you're going total peak season... if it's not FD, it'll be a room discount or a package discount.

I'm booked 11/5 - 11/11. same deal here...could pay and will, full price but am crossing fingers for a room discount. Based on last year I think it'll be okay but we shall see!

We are booked Nov 10-16 but just got an email pin for free dining! It was certain dates in October than Nov 11-23 so we are shifting everything forward one day so we can get free dining from Nov 11-17! Makes me think they'll release it to the general public in a month ot two....

I received the pin in my email and applied it to my existing reservation. Had to do a split stay, room only for 11/29 but got free dining from 11/30-12/7.
I truly think that they will eventually open the dates from the pin open to the public.
