Losing a child is the worst nightmare of all of us!! Will certainly pray her her and her family!!

Dad had elevated PSA and a digital exam and they found a nodule so he is scheduled for a biopsy later this month. Prayers appreciated.

I've been down this road with my own Dad. Prayers that things go well for him and that He comforts you and your family during this time.

Update....Dad's biopsy came back as expected, though the good news was the MD says it is non-aggressive. He goes in Thursday to discuss treatment options. Nothing too aggressive I am sure because he never fully recovered from his heart attack three years ago.

Sorry to hear it wasn't a false positive. Good thing that the doc says it's non-aggressive.

In fact, I've heard of many docs, depending on the patient's age, choose not to treat it. They say, a person can live up to 15 years with no treatment at all.

My Dad was rather young when his was discovered, and he chose the removal option as the option best for him. I don't think he's regretted it.
