I am considering a 5 day after Christmas for New Year's trip this year and just looked up some room rates on the Disney Website. OMG! I can't believe the rates are so high.

Am I right in assuming that if discounts come out for December 2013 the week between Christmas and New Year's will be totally blocked? I know in the past, sometimes if you arrived a day before the holiday block out period you were able to get the cheaper rate( I might consider changing my dates if this is the case)-

Would love to use our annual pass more then once- but not sure I can justify the prices-
