But to answer your question...OMG, tons and tons to do after the race, I think. (1) Go to medical and get any ice or ibuprofen you need. (2) Go to the MASSAGE TENT! They do an AWESOME job. And it feels so so so good. $10 for 10 minutes and $20 for 20 minutes. So worth it. And they will usually go longer. I always sign up for 10 minutes and they always do at least 15 if not a full 20. (And the money goes to the National Kidney Foundation...everyone there is a volunteer from either a massage school or from physical therapy offices in the area.) (3) Get in line for the Official Photos. There are a few different ones. There are the "basic" one of you with your medal and the Princess Half backdrop (look at my pic under my screen name). (4) And then you can wait in the really long line for pics with Mickey and Minnie in their racing outfits. (They switch in and out with Donald and Goofy, too.) (5) They have a tent with Official Merchandise, too. It's mostly the same stuff as the Expo (only the "Official Merchandise" from the Expo, not all of the vendors. But you can get the "I DID IT" t-shirt and they will customize it with your finish time while you wait. (6) In that same area, you can get your medal engraved with your name and finish time while you wait (there are spaces for it on the back). (7) And of course...there is all of the food/water/drinks/snack packs so you can refuel. (8) And my person favorite...hang out and watch others finish. It is SO SO SO fun to watch people finish. There are always lots of emotional finishes and it is amazing to watch. Have fun at your first half! We do this race every year and love it. My advice is to really enjoy the race. This shouldn't be a race that you do for time or a PR. There is too much stuff on the course that is worth enjoying. Save the PR for a different race. This one is for FUN! Good luck!

Wow! I saw the thread jump up 6 pages and I knew it must mean waiver time!
I'm #14690 and submitted a 10K time of 1:18. I think I'd be faster today but I figure it's not worth it to push myself so close to the PHM. 26,000 seems like a LOT!! How many people ran the WDW half? Does anyone know how many people they assign per corral? Started my Rapunzel costume last night!! I accidentally maybe left the iron on a bit too much in one place but Im hoping the lacing will cover it. I hope to have pics soon! Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Worst case scenario, I'm currently fueling at mile 7 in my training runs so I shouldn't have too much of an issue waiting the other mile if need be. Was just wanting the earlier fuel-up as extra insurance if I needed it as I'm not used to running at 5 in the morning (my body will still be on central time), ya know?! And unfortunately, my husband's work schedule makes it impossible for me to do my training runs at that hour, otherwise I'd prefer to since I try to train in as real world environment as possible. But, we don't have hills where I live so those overpasses are going to be killer. But no seriously, I get the feeling I'm gonna be all after the first one.

I am going to piggyback on my friend and teammate's post and answer a whole bunch of questions...
(If you look at my profile, that is 3DisneyKids and me!) Driving to the race - yes, we drive every year. It's a bit crazy but it can be done. I like driving in NYC so I find this challenging and hilarious, and I always beg to be the one actually driving. So, yes, you can drive there and make the race. Give yourself time. Proof of time - you just need yours, not everyone who finished. The ladies at the booths are super nice. Corrals - This matters a lot less than most people fear it does. If you really need to change it, go ahead. But remember that this a crowded course every year, and this year it's going to be especially so. This is not the race to PR. There will be fast runners and slow runners in every corral. This is the race to have fun with. Cheer other women on, take pics, smile. Fuel - Even if you manage to arrange a perfect time and place to see your husband, carry your own fuel. You never ever know. Sometimes you need it sooner. Or later. Better safe than sorry. My biggest piece of advice is don't change anything from now to race day. Don't decide this week to get new shoes. Don't overtrain. Don't drink gatorade during the race when you never did before. Yes, I have done two of these things and it wasn't pretty. Don't be me! And you will be fine. It's my 4th Princess, and probably my last for a while - but it's been a good ride!

We were there at 8:30am last year, on Friday, and easily got the Dooney and Burke Princess bags, and all the other stuff we wanted. But if you don't really want one thing, you don't need to be there that early. That was the only year we did the early Friday am thing.

Does anyone know if you can walk from Caribbean beach resort to the race start? We stayed at port Orleans to riverside last year and met people who walked to corrals to save time.

My friend can't find her info when we searched on the site for her bib#/waiver. Her name doesn't come up and she registered I believe a month after me. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it too early to panic? I told her to try calling tomorrow.

Oh man, I just about had a heart attack! As soon as I saw the waiver link I checked it out and saw that I'm 30823 and my friend is 30822. I was freaking out because I knew we had submitted times that were good enough for C, or so I thought! Then during my panic, I read some more and realized that we registered as a team. I just wish I could figure out what corral we'll be in with the team #s!!
