Yes, we have only stayed at BC. I asked my DS and DD tonight at dinner where they wanted to stay. They both said BC and their reasoning was because it's where we've always stayed. Interestingly enough, I priced out a vaca at BC GV CL for April 1-7, and the price is $2,300 less than our stay would be December 16-23. I'm really hoping that Dis will offer the discount on rooms again for the time when we plan on going. So, do I book our stay for BC GV and hope that a discount is offered and then upgrade to GV Cl or book POR assuming there will be no discount offered? I have already decided that if we go POR we are staying in a RR RV and then hope to get Oak Manor. I love the convenience of being able to walk to Epcot whenever and my DS LOVES the monorail!! I love the smell of gingerbread upon walking into BC, and as my DS said tonight, "It says home to me!" How do I argue with that?

We resort hopped our last trip during holiday time and saw the BC, YC, and BW. I liked the decorations a lot and of course bought some gingerbread to eat.

Count me in, yay! Hoping for a discount before booking, but I'm looking at December 4-14, either at AoA or POR/POFQ depending on what discounts come out. It will be my fiance's and my 10th anniversary so I'm hoping for a big discount for this big trip

It broke my heart but I had to change our resort from Coronda Springs (I always wanted to stay there) to Pop Century.
Made our resort change yesterday and added dining. We saved 700.00 per rooms and there are 6 rooms so that is a mighty nice piece of change. (4200.00 savings) We sat down and figured our days and very little time was being spent at the resort (is it even nice in December to swim?>??) so we are now booked at Pop with regular dining. I really hope to get some kind of discount

Hi all! We are planning our 10 year anniversary trip/my daughter's 2nd birthday in Disney for December 28-January 1 (I know, I know... busy time of year!). We're planning at the moment to stay at Art of Animation in a Little Mermaid room (although we're open to other value suggestions!) We're really excited and hoping that this will be the first of many annual trips!

We're booked at the BWI December 28 through January 5. There will be ten of us (all adults), and the tentative plan is to spend two days at Universal and the rest at Disney. Nervous about the crowds, but plan to be at the parks before RD and accept that we can't do everything in one trip!

Woohoo! Just booked our December 28-January 1st vacation at the Art of Animation Resort!
Question - If we are getting into the area on the 27th, and don't plan on doing anything on the 1st since we're leaving early, can we start our Tickets/Dining Plan on the 27th or does it have to be on the 28th when we check in? |
