Deposit for ADRs

I should know this...I remember there being a lot of discussion on the Podcast when the policy changed...but I haven't been to WDW since the change so I just don't remember.

Here are my Qs:
1. Is there a deposit requirement for all ADRs now? Or just some locations?
2. It's a charge of $10/person if we are a no call-no show, right?
3. How far in advance do we have to cancel/change the ADR to avoid the penalty fee?
4. If there's an overview thread that answers all of this, can someone direct me to it?

Not all ADRs require a cc guarantee...The Signature dining and character meals all require a cc. The dinner shows (e.g., HDDR) and a few other places (e.g., CRT) require full prepayment at the time of booking. Correct, the no show penalty is $10/person for the venues requiring cc guarantee. You will only be charged if no one shows up for you ADR. In other words, if you make an ADR for four people, but only three show up, you won't be charged a penalty for the missing one person.

For the places that require pre-payment, if you're a no show, then the full price of the meal is charge. I haven't shown up with less people than the ADR, so I don't know how that one works.

For the cc hold places, you must cancel 24-hours in advance. Essentially, for a Tuesday ADR, you must cancel on Monday by 10 pm EST (when the reservation phone lines close). (I don't know what would happen if you try to cancel an ADR after 10 pm, but before midnight using the online system.) Note that, for some places, the cancellation window is 48-hours (like CRT, and the dinner shows, special tables at some of Signatures, etc.).

There are no ADRS that require an actual deposit.

If you book CRT or a dinner show, you pay for the meal in full at the time you book it.

you are to leave a credit card as a guarantee. This is not a deposit. Your card will not be charged unless you do not show up for the meal. The no-show fee is $10 per person except at Victoria & Albert's where it is $25 per person. The penalty for not showing up at CRT or a dinner show is the full cost of the meal.
