Custom Centerpieces (DFTW)

I looked for a thread on this but didn't find one. If I missed it, I appologize!

I'm curious how flexible Disney Floral is with their "custom" centerpices. Is it even possible for them to design a centerpiece that has no or very little floral? And will I end up paying more for it since it's not an "out of the box" design? I'm thinking simple like tall glass vases filled with fruit or candy...or something along those lines. I know I could do that myself very inexpensively but since they don't let you do that I didn't know...

I was wondering the same thing! I was planning on doing something super simple, and maybe with a SMALL touch of floral, but not like a whole bouquet.

Disney can create pretty much anything you can think up. Just know that while their non-floral creations will probably be cheaper than anything with flowers, they won't be as cheap as if you made them yourself.

If I'm at a location that states all decor must be through Disney I'm assuming that means I can't even bring anything on my own? My DF read it as no outside vendors but I read it saying your cant even DIY anything and bring it.....

That is correct. Everything would have to be provided by Disney.

Can you provide your own centerpieces at ADH?

You can see our centerpieces here. Very simple. I did not want a lot of flowers since the Wine Room is a very modern space. Plus I wanted sand to go with all the natural feel of AKL etc. Unfortunately, I have no idea how much I paid for them, but just wanted to show that you can do something very simple from Disney Floral. (we also had the table runners and Mickey confetti as you can see). If I can find my BEO fairly easily, I will edit to add the cost we paid for the centerpieces.

I haven't been around for a while but I wanted to thank you all for your input! We just had our planning session a couple weeks ago and it was NO PROBLEM! They didn't even think I was weird or frown at me when I said I didn't need my floral haha! I haven't gotten my floral BEO yet so not sure what I've even done damage-wise yet but I've got my fingers crossed that it's not too bad.
