It has done both. In 05 it was HH only and 07 the resort stops. Plan on HH as the charter buses do not function as well in the turnarounds.

I am Staying at the GF and looking to do a 5 miler early Fri morning as well. I looked on google maps street view and the roads look very narrow and tight with traffic. Thinking I will try to make it down side roads to Fort Wilderness, looks to be some trails and lots of loops in the camp ground. I don't know if there is a better option.

First, the new GFV (DVC Villa) construction may put a damper on the side walk, but there is a non-road or mostly non road path from FG to FW. I ran this path prior to the construction so am not100% sure of the area near that. Without that unknown, it is a fairly nice run. This map gives an idea of where to head. The largest area of caution is crossing World Dr. It is an uncontrolled intersection.

Today it just feels pleasant, but it is cooler than the forecast for the rest of the week (69 degrees) and overcast.

Be careful when you squat in the bushes. Some of them have sharp edges that don't feel nice on bare booties. I know this sounds gross, but an incline is your best bet for a girl. Make sure your butt is facing downhill. Less chance for wet socks that way. I didn't think I'd be using the bushes last time so I didn't have TP. I had to "bounce". :eek
