I actually would have to pay $60 more for my room only reservation at AoA (Lion King Suite) using the AP discount over the general public discount.

Guess we are keeping what we have.

I was also quoted a higher rate for VWL using AP over visa discount, also confused

Did free dining ever come out for Frb? I was hoping for it, but haven't seen anything.

No. And discounts for further out in the year were released this week, so I don't think FD will be coming out for the first few months of the year at least.

Thanks. That stinks, I was hoping to get it for mid Feb. I guess I should just be glad we are going!

I'm a new poster but wanted to say that we have FD for our trip in February. I read a post on here from someone saying they had rec'd a mailer with a pin so I called in just to see if we might have it and we did! We are staying at Pop so it was only quick service dining but we paid to upgrade!

Yeah, FD and a room discount were sent out via pin and people have gotten FD via bounceback offers as well.

Nothing for the general public, unfortunately.

Anyone know anything about new promos being announced tomorrow for dates Feb-June? I follow some Disney TA on FB and she posted she will be on the phone tomorrow morning for her clients and then emailing them to let them know how much money they saved.

Yeah, there is a thread on this board about it. It's open to Disney Visa card members now. I think it says 'this will be the next promo' or something.

My rates just dropped at the Dolphin for President's Week! Yay! We're now booked at a rate that's comparable to rates we have booked in the past!

Random question for anyone that went this past Feb (2013). Was President's Day Week excluded from the deals?

We were there last month, (Feb 2013) and the stay, play and dine plan ended 2/12/13. There were room discounts, but I believe that President's weekend was excluded.

We were there the entire week: February 16-23rd, ad had the stay/play/dine throughout our stay.

I figured as much. Looking at going Feb 2014, and we'd need to go the week of President's day. Just trying to figure out if there might possibly be anything available discount wise. I'll plan for the worst and hope for the best! Thanks for responding.
