analyzed our bill...
So, many of you know that I'm a recovering bean counter. I obviously have a long way to go on that road to recovery as for some reason I felt compelled to pull together a spreadsheet analyzing how much we spent on board.
25% Specialty Dining (excluding alcohol) 44% Beverages (almost all of them alcoholic) 10% Gift shops 11% Shore Excursions 10% ship's gratuities & laundry |

Speaking as a fellow (retired) bean counter, there is no hope of recovery and yes, I have all my cruise expenditure analysed in Quicken!

This time we did Palo, and I did Remy. Dining with friends, old and new, was great. I liked the conversations. But next time - no. I found the food to be only a little better than MDR.

It's so easy and convenient to spend a lot of extra $ on the ship.
We did Palo brunch - which I adore - and will always do that, but Palo dinner will probably be passed up in the future. I thought it was a nice dinner. we had a large tableful of friends dining together and that's what made it special, the meal ...meh |

I finally finished editing and uploading my ridiculous number of pictures from the cruise. Feel free to skim, browse or completely ignore due to the sheer number of photos!

Thank you for sharing your pictures. I wasn't able to leave the ship and I loved seeing the ports of call through your lens. You also captured so many sites on the ship that I missed. What a great way to revisit a wonderful trip.

Thanks for the photo compliments, Jeff and Carol! Most of the port photos were from the ship - we only left the ship in Cozumel, and we quickly wished we hadn't.
Funny how much prettier those port areas looked from afar, at least where Cozumel was concerned.

Lisa - I just noticed in your signature that your marathon is this weekend. Good Luck on your run. I think it is great that you are raising some money for GKTW.
