craft night ideas?
I'm looking for some craft ideas to do with my grandkids for an upcoming trip in June. Things that they can use in the planning and or the actual trip. I'd like to do a craft a month or so. My first is a Disney themed foam core bulletin board with the crisscrossed ribbons. And my last will be a travel journal, Made with manilla envelopes. Any ideas? I have a boy and a girl, age 12 and 8 respectively.

Did some googeling and found Mickey tie dye shirts on Youtube. I like the one with the sharpie pens the best, only because of the overnight time involved in the actual tie dyed one.

Salt Dough Ornaments/Figures/tags? I want to try making ornaments but you can make any shape - it's all about the shapes & decoration. I read that the dough takes color easily and the ingredients are cheap - salt, water and flour.

how about decorating flip flops? or maybe a lanyard? water bottle? Making stamps out of mouse pads (cut out Mickey head shapes and hot glue a cork on the back for the stamp handle) and stamping pillowcases? Maybe decorating a small tote bag and filling it with things to keep busy with like coloring books, puzzles, stickers? have fun!
