Introducing myself
Hello everyone,Disney fan for all of my 34 years-the characters, the music, the toys...I can go on- and a long time hoverer over the DISboards. Lucky to enjoy two Disney cruises over the past year with more Disney trips in the works so I thought I'd finally tiptoe into the forums and see what comes of it. --Kari |

Hi mashimello,
I enjoyed the first cruise I took on the Fantasy so much in May that within 2 weeks of being home, I booked the last Alaska cruise out of Seattle (home port for me) on the Wonder. The Fantasy was beautiful--we were on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary and I liked having the extra sea day onboard the ship. The Wonder, being a classic ship, felt a little more crowded but I didn't really miss the things like the aquaduck (don't have the lower body strength for that--moment of panic when I thought I was going to be stuck at bottom of the ride for the remainder of the cruise). The Alaska weather and scenery were amazing and I felt really comfortable navigating the ship. I have to say the best part about the Fantasy cruise was the group we went with had their farewell buffet/raffle the last day and I won the grand prize of a 6-night paid vacation back to WDW. So I'm now in the 35 day window for that vacation so very stoked.
