All the surrounding school districts to us already have the 2 week October holiday just not our district (Typically!). However there is currently a consultation process going on to change this in 2015. I would be thrilled by this, although my eldest will almost have finished school by then, but my youngest would only be in P3. This would be amazing for us and would allow us another October trip. Here's hoping!

I would like to say you can definitely do disney 'cheap'!
May just gone six of us went for 2 weeks for £4500 including spends! (BOOKED FLIGHTS 3 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE) Flights with Monarch direct - £1278 (inc 3 bags) Tickets 14 days ultimate - £1089 (3adults, 3 chil) villa with pool heat -£700 (windsor hills) car hire -£340 (full petrol and all insurance) we took £1400 spends (£100 for each day)- but only spent £1000 we did disney so cheap because we had breakfast in the villa, made pack lunches most days to eat in the park including making large bottles of juice. we ate dinner either on the way home for a rest/ in villa before going back to watch fireworks ect. for us eating out is a nightmare the two babies get very restless waiting for food ect so this works for us! The only thing we spent on other than food was snacks in the park and petrol! i can honestly say we were not scrimping as we also had our credit cards with us! IT CAN BE DONE! XXX
